About the adventure

šŸ’€ The undead wake šŸŒ©ļø Lightning's deadly dance ⚔ Danger whispers near šŸ¤‘ Cavern's treasure gleams. Leilon attracts a particular type of settler. The stubborn. Destroyed and rebuilt multiple times in it's long history, Leilon is being built once again. They don't believe in the definition of insanity; they keep rebuilding hoping that things will "be different this time". Now, once again, the dead are waking, the storm clouds darkening, and the sea is attacking. You, and other heroes, are either in the right place at the right time, or more accurately, the wrong place at the wrong time. What mysteries can be found in Leilon? Can you defend the settlers from the coming evil? Will you make Leilon your home? A beacon of hope to the people? Or will your desires take their fate in a different direction. This adventure starts at 7th level and goes to approximately level 12, giving players a chance to flex their muscles and brains as higher level characters as we play through the entire trilogy including "Sleeping Dragon's Wake" and "Divine Contention".

About me

With a focus on teaching the game, I encourage all players to come to my table. Don't worry about previous experience, don't worry about what others are doing. Bring and play your own character the way that feels right for you. I generally play published modules so you know that you are getting a well balanced, consistent experience. No T.R.A.S.H.Y. players or behaviours T -> Transphobic R -> Racist A -> Ableist S -> Sexist H -> Homophobic Y -> Yeetable (poor choices not necessarily related to discrimination) LBGTQ+ Friendly, No Racism, No Misogyny, No Bullying.

Character creation

Creating your character

All characters will start at 7th level, and will be created prior to the campaign beginning. Use 2024 rules as much as possible. If a subclass doesn't have a 2024 version, you may use the 2014 version. All characters are made prior to the game start using dndbeyond.com. You will have access to all my materials, along with any materials other players may already have, through my Master Tier subscription which allows content sharing of all purchased materials. Should you have any questions, I am available, and happy to help you through the process.

What to expect

What Lloyd Johnston (Geldhart) brings to the table

I will be providing a large selection of D&D Material for players to use to create their characters, and a virtual table top with all the maps you need. As a DM, I believe in player choice, and therefore bring experience in both pre-planning and improvisation. Go off the beaten path, I'll be there with you.

Homebrew rules

* Drinking healing potions as a full action will give you maximum healing for that potion. * Death saves are made by the DM; the results are not given to the player * Artificers get weapon mastery for a single weapon that they have personally improved with an Artificer ability.

Safety

How Lloyd Johnston (Geldhart) creates a safe table

I welcome private discussion of a player's individual needs prior to them joining the campaign. Given the improvisational nature of role play, it can be difficult to predict in advance exactly what could come up, I will take precautions to make sure all players feel safe, including adjusting the campaign, house rules, or putting in place special role play limits. Transphobia, Racism, Ableism, Sexism (including SA), and Homophobia will not be tolerated in or out of game.
