In the time I've played with Geldhart he's been a fantastic DM. The game I've been in has had frequent combat while still having plenty of opportunity to roleplay. He comes to every session prepared and has been easy to reach whenever I have gameplay or story questions outside of our usual session times. Most of all, I've been impressed by how well he's weaved my character into the world, both making her backstory relevant and giving an in universe reason for the changes she went through when we swapped to the 2024 rules. The adventures with him have been great and I'm looking forward to more in the future.

Geldhart is kind, patient, and friendly. His pledge to create and maintain safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ people is the reason I chose to try out my first StartPlaying sessions with him. I am having a delightful time and having lots of fun.

Geldhart was a great DM to play with! He's very knowledgeable and made sure the whole group had a great time. His Foundry setup is great too, making the mechanics of combat very user friendly.

Geldhart is an amazing GM who balances combat & pc driven role-play in with the primary story elements. The balance is incredible and essential to playing with random people. If you are new to 5e, these games are for you. Experienced player who wants to see how a pro-DM at work, these games are for you. Don't be trashy and you'll have a good time. These campaigns are inclusive, fair and fun.

Geldhart was super accommodating (especially with very little notice) in onboarding me into his campaign with 5 other active players. He was willing and available to work with me with backstory prompts giving me enough information to create a character to easily integrate into his running campaign. He communicated the expectations for when the next sessions are open and spoke up during intense times in combat to resolve something that could have potentially resulted in conflict between players. This maintained harmony amongst the players and allowed the campaign to continue running smoothly. Geldhart is also a true expert in knowing and setting the rules for the game. He has put a lot of time and effort into setting this up to keep a safe environment for players as expectations are set even before gameplay starts! Whenever I had game-specific questions about certain mechanics and interpretations of various character abilities, Geldhart was able to clearly explain the differences in an authoritative manner respected by all players. Geldhard also had a very nice Foundry VTT setup and while the VTT does have its complications, he improvised well to resolve any issues very quickly and efficiently without disrupting the flow of the game. For any bugs discovered by the players, he took notes so that he could fix them for the next session!
