About the adventure
You have found yourself in possession of a ticket to ride the Ghostlight Express -- a spectral train that ferries souls to the afterlife. Each of you have boarded for your own reasons that find you, now, hurtling towards your destiny. Stranded in the mysterious valley of Wickermoor Hollow, where the inhabitants are terrorized by restless dead, wicked hags, ravenous monsters, and many other creatures of the night that never ends, you must unravel a complex web if evil if you hope to survive your time in the valley and save the lives of its inhabitants. Victory is possible, but the cost may be tremendous, in the Crooked Moon. ------ Come join a play-by-post adventure of folk horror, where the stakes are high, and the fun is higher! About me
Hi y’all! My name is Blake. I’m 40 years old, aand have been playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e and other TTRPGs for roughly 8 years, mostly as a DM. I’ve run games from 5e, to Masks, Starfinder, Pathfinder 2e, Monster of the Week, Kids on Bikes, and more. I have a passion for storytelling, and love the collaborative environment that TTRPGs provide! I love providing a fun, and inclusive space for my players to get to tell stories together and enjoy sprawling and epic adventures. I'm a father of 5 awesome kids, as well as a stay-at-home dad, and a teacher, so I love running and teaching games for all ages, and experience levels. One of my favorite things to do is to introduce new players to this amazing hobby! I’ve run multiple Play-by-Post (PbP) games on Discord for my friends, as well as live online and in-person games. I love DMing new and experienced players alike, and Brennan Lee Mulligan and Matthew Mercer are my inspirations for my DMing style. My games tend to have a solid mix of RP and combat, though I love to focus more on the RP side – especially inter-party RP. I strive for my games to be fun, inclusive and safe for my players, and have experience DMing players from children, up to adult. I am always open for communication and my promise to my players is that I will strive to always provide a safe space for them to escape to and have fun! At the end of the day, we all play this game to have fun, and that is what I try to accomplish with my games – that they’re fun, safe, and fair for everyone involved!

Creating your character
We will create our characters together on Discord, using the Avrae bot in order to roll. Creation will be rolled via the 4d6, drop the lowest, method. All official books for 5th edition and the 2024 ruleset are available, as well as the Crooked Moon supplement.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you'll need is a free Discord and DnD Beyond account. Once you've joined the game, I'll send you a link to my Discord server.
What Blake brings to the table
You can expect atmospheric storytelling, as well as tactical, high stakes combat. I am a very player-friendly DM, as I like to make you feel like your character is the best at what they do, and that is reflected in my storytelling and how I run the game.
