About the adventure
This will be the old 3.0 adventure path, starting with The Sunless Citadel up to Bastion of Broken Souls, taking characters from 1st to 20th level. This is a mixture of classic Dungeon Crawl, Exploration, Social Interactions & Combat. You need to be able to switch between those based on the adventure we're in and the encounter. All of the adventures will be updated to the 5e (2024) rules and set within the world of Eberron. Many know the story of the Progenitor Dragons, Eberron, Khyber, and Siberys, three cosmic beings who created the thirteen planes of existence. Their last creation being that of the Material Plane is when Khyber sought total dominion over everything. Khyber killed Siberys, tearing them apart so that their body would become a golden ring of dragonshards encircling the world. Eberron wrestled fiercely with Khyber before succeeding at wrapping her tightly around her coils to become the Underdark or Dragon Below. Eberron herself, the Dragon Between, would become the world, imprisoning Khyber below. Siberys would become known as the Dragon Above. Khyber would not be bound and created various aberrations and fiends. These various fiends and demons were led by archfiend Overlords who would break free, leading to another great conflict. Stories and legends vary, but all agree on Forces of Light, an alliance of dragons and celestials that would oppose them. Some say that nine gods, who could become known as the Sovereign Host also formed or led this alliance. One dragon, Ashardalon, however, did not ally with his fellow dragons. Instead, he sought power, the same power that the Progenitor Dragons wielded. Binding and breaking an Overlord, Ashardalon tore his own heart out and replaced it with that of the archfiend, gaining immortality. Ashardalon's wrath and destruction across the world were immense before other dragons succeeded at defeating and sealing him away. Some legends will say that Ashardalon is sealed away with the Dragon Below while other stories tell that Ashardalon escaped to one of the other Planes. Since this First Age, many other civilizations have risen and fallen over the millennia. At the end of the Last War, on the Day of Mourning that destroyed the nation of Cyre, the earth opened up, swallowing an ancient Dhakaani ruin known as the Sunless Citadel by locals. Rumor holds that Agents of Cyre used the place as a waypoint before conducting espionage on neighboring kingdoms. Other rumors hold that a Cult of the Dragon Below resided there. The Mournland can be seen from the rift where the ruins lay. The community of Oakhurst has seen an exodus of local farmers leaving the region as they feel the Mournlands lay too close. At the same time, Oakhurst has grudgingly welcomed refugees from Cyre fleeing the destruction of their homeland. It is here, that the adventure begins...

About me
I am a long-time DM/GM/Storyteller and player since the mid-'90s. I have run a variety of games over the years both tabletop and online from Palladium Fantasy, Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, Word of Darkness with Werewolf the Apocalypse and Changeling the Dreaming, new Chronicles of Darkness for Hunter the Vigil and Changeling the Lost, and of course, D&D with 3.5 and 5th edition, mainly for the Eberron and Forgotten Realms settings and homebrew. I strive for role-playing and have run games that lean more combat-heavy or more RP-intensive, depending on who's at the table. So far, I have completed 4 Lost Mines of Phandelver adventures, 1 Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, 1 Dragon of Icespire Peak. 2 Tyranny of Dragons campaigns completed & 2 Eberron campaigns to level 20 completed. There are currently 4 other campaigns taking parties to 20th level and closing in on that milestone. I have several games a week I run for.

Creating your character
Have characters are made with point buy. All characters will begin at level one. Bear in mind characters will need to be from the world of Eberron, keeping in mind backgrounds referencing how the Last War affected them. Please stick to the use of the Player's Guide, Eberron Rising from the Last War, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
Current line-up - Hadriel Redmare - Aasimar Paladin Nix - Human Monk Xelo Dawn - Khoravar Wizard The game aims towards being cooperative; we should be moderately "good" aligned. We're still recruiting and getting the campaign underway. Level 1 - Starting Equipment, following page 43 of the Player's Handbook plus 1 Common Magic Item. If you want to use starting gold to purchase items instead, go ahead. Point Buy & Average Hit Points, that way I don't have to worry about the poor player who always rolls low or the player who somehow always rolls high. We are using the 2024 Rules; please adhere to and use them as much as possible, as they are updated. If there is a Legacy subclass not updated, just ask so I can take a look at it to approve or not. The same with any 3rd Party Sourcebooks that are not official D&D.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to have a mic and a place with minimal interruptions. Bring your spirit of adventure. D&D Beyond will be used for storing character sheets. If you want your own paper, physical copy of a character sheet, go for it, just keep it up to date with the site.

How Anna creates a safe table
Be respectful to your fellow players. I try to be a good narrator and describe the action. I get that different players will have different levels of role-playing ability and experience. If you have an issue with the game, don't forget you can talk to me. I want the table to be Open and Welcoming, to know that players can message me, the DM with any problems regarding the game, character, character conflicts, ect.
