About the adventure
šAn adventure for anyone who's ever looked at a lawful good hero and thought "Man, what's that guy's problem?" š¤Decide who you are...a former evil overlord overthrown by the "good" guys, fighting to regain their former glory? An ambitious henchman ready for the full villain spotlight? A cheerful assassin who just likes killing? A chaotic evil fiend pretending to be a lawful good paladin because that's the funniest thing you've ever heard?Whoever you are, join into a cabal of chaos with your fellow villains and... āļøDecide what you want! World domination? To rule the land? Revenge? Money? Unlimited power ripped from the grasp of an eldritch being old beyond memory? To get back at that one bartender who threw you out of a tavern last week? Whatever it is, evil plans are always better with allies! šInspired by classic campaigns like Dimension 20's "Escape From the Blood Keep" and all our favorite fictional baddies (shout out Loki, Homelander, the Dark Urge, etc etc etc), the campaign will follow you from your start as mildly overpowered baby villains to true forces of evil wrought upon a unique homebrew world. Dive into the world of Thyrulian, a land much like any other--except for the strange lack of, well, bad guys. Is Thyrulian simply lucky? Or is the perfect facade hiding something sinister that only you sinister types can uncover? Only a group of the worst of the worst can find out! š®A weekly campaign played on Foundry VTT and Discord, with pregen characters available for beginner players. Or, I'll walk you through creating your first original PC. š®FREE Session 0 for the party to meet, learn the basics and decide how they're connected to each other and our story.

About me
Hi there, I'm Caitlin! I've been playing D&D for over half my life and I first DM'ed for my stepbrother and his friends in high school, got the TTRPG bug and have been happily playing ever since. I love Dungeons & Dragons, but in my time playing my horizons have expanded and I also would be thrilled to share a game of Star Wars 5e, Warhammer 40k or Daggerheart with you! Bringing new players into the game and exposing them to the joy and wonder of TTRPGs is one of my favorite aspects of being a DM, but I also love grabbing a table of experienced chaos goblins and seeing where they take our adventure! Everyone is welcome at my table, except those who would make others feel unwelcome. I'm a firm believer that TTRPGs are a huge benefit to our mental health and our overall wellbeing, and I view my games as a bubble of escapism and safety from whatever else might be going on in your life. That is to say, you'll be safe. I make no guarantees about your characters! š I am a fun first, rule of cool DM and I enjoy the roleplaying and immersion that comes with running games, so expect music and atmospheric VTTs and my best attempts at accents for the NPCs I voice. I also embrace the sandbox side of games like D&D and very much leave where the session goes up to my players. Even if running a pre-written module, chances are it will be at least tweaked to allow as much player freedom as possible.

How Caitlin creates a safe table
Every player needs to fill out a consent form before Session 0--this is non negotiable. The forms will be kept anonymous. ***This is ESPECIALLY important in a campaign of this nature, due to the type of subject matter that could arise during gameplay.*** Every player needs to read and acknowledged the Lines and Veils list in our Discord server. My games are welcoming, inclusive places for every player. The only players who aren't welcome are those who are unwelcoming to others, and go out of their way to exclude other players, make the party uncomfortable or just to be a jerk. Respect is the word of the day--respect each other, don't fuss and whine about using preferred names/pronouns, don't be an edgy mc edgelord and say stuff just to get a reaction. All of the things I just listed will result in you being removed from the party and the game. That being said, I pride myself on my tables being friendly, chill, and not all that serious.
