About the adventure
We can adjust the time and day of the session. — Let me know your preference, and I can check if that spot is available. You want to start a Daggerheart campaign tailored to your desire, but you don't know if the group or the GM will be a good fit. And you don't want to spend time in a session zero, to find out it is not what you want! I've got you. → Nothing better than playing to see the dynamic of the group and how the GM handles it. I am running multiple one-shot sessions of Daggerheart to form coherent groups of players before embarking on a full custom campaign. So you get to play a game and see if my GM's style suits your needs, without making any commitment. 🎲 Which one-shot? Either - The Sablewood Messengers - starting at level 1. Or its sequel, - The Marauder of Winfall -, starting at level 2. Or a 3rd Level custom Adventure. Let's decide before the game via a Discord poll. 🐦🔥 Three High Fantasy Adventures to choose from (3.5 - 4 hours) : One in the ancient Sablewood forest, one on a Navy airship, one in the rugged mountains nearby. (contact me for more info) 🧌 Characters Make your own 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Level characters or choose between 5 pre-mades: Sorcerer, Ranger, Rogue, Warrior, Guardian (see below) 📖 Launching the Campaign ‼ What if, thanks to the one-shot, you find out you don't have affinities with this group? → I have a second custom campaign slot planned; you can try another one-shot with another group. 🎲 A FREE session zero will happen after the one-shot to : 1) Create a new character, if you find out that the class or ancestry is not what you wanted, while keeping the experience! 2) Define the type of campaign you want through : An online form to gather your preferences. A guided group brainstorming to define key elements and campaign guidelines, such as: - The Setting: Will it be a city campaign, a dungeon one, a jungle or a desert's exploration, a travel through the elemental planes, etc? - The Tone: will it be a dark, gritty survival story, a learning mage academy year, an epic war journey to save the world, the building of a rebellion, a personal quest to better yourself, a cosy and funny dungeon exploration, something else? - the main Protagonists : Who would you like to face ? Will it be a story about magical creatures (dragons, faeries, etc), about undead (Vampire, Lich, etc), about different cultures and ancestries (Fungril, Katari, Ribbet, Clank, etc)? - your Character Arc : How will your character evolve ? - Beginners can use a Pregens (pre-made characters) to jump start immediately or - It's also easy to create your own character during session 0. - You can of course also make it yourself, just make sure to send it prior to session 0.
What to expect

How Zackary creates a safe table
Like an insurance, most of the time, savety tools not needed, except in those rare moment when you are happy to have it and they reveal their usefulness. Safety tools are a useful both for players and GM to avoid any unconfortable moments and increase the enjoyment. I bring: - LGBTQIA+, BPOC, Disability, Neurodivergent inclusivity. All the safety tools you require are available, from the Open Door allowing you to leave at any moment or disconnect voice or camera, and letting you come back later - without any justification ! Lines and veils are used to define what your character want to completely avoid, or go through gently. → Lines and Veils sheet is completed **anonymously** on-line. X-card is implemented in the VTT to be easy to use. It allows you to interrupt the game at any moment when you feel disregulated or disturbed, so you can take it slow or skip the scene entirely. Luxon discussion is usefull when you need to express something about a situation, before being able to fully enjoy the game again. → Emotional safety is a priority. Don't let any of the content warnings discourage you from playing, based on your Lines and Veils, any of them can be replaced or removed from the story.
