About the adventure
You step out of your cramped little cabin and into another day full of backbreaking toil just to keep Hell’s Gate alive. Everything’s falling apart. The foundries run at lower efficiency every week. The heat management system is half a century past due for replacement. People report which part of the station they’re in by reading the error code off the nearest computer screen. The vent crab infestation is so bad some people have suggested just training them to show up for work shifts. There’s been power failures in Section 3B every day for a month. Oh, and last week, the printer broke, and it might be your fault. Good luck with that. IN GOLDEN FLAME is a planet hopping adventure in which you and your team will travel across the Calliope system fighting pirates, interstellar corporations and other factions as you uncover the secrets of this far flung region of space, all while looking out for the friends you make along the way. The campaign is set to run roughly 5 levels. Homebrew or third party character options are available upon request. Sessions run on a weekly basis with a friendly and welcoming group with varying levels of experience with the LANCER system. We love meeting new players be they Lancer veterans or first timers; all are welcome :)

About me
When I was around 10 years of age I was handed a copy of the 1983 Dungeons and Dragons basic rules (a copy that I still have to this day). Since then I have been captured by the fun of running all kinds of pen and paper games, consistently improving and trying to create the most fulfilling gaming experience I can. Since starting here on Startplaying, I have learned so much and improved my games tenfold in a bid to create something truly memorable for everyone who joins my table. I work hard at detailing every aspect of my games and ensure that they are to a standard that is above and beyond what you find at most tables. This is a process that has no true end and to that degree I am always looking for feedback and ways to improve the experience wherever I can. What Games Master JJ brings to the table
You will get access to a welcoming and inclusive community of Lancer fans on my discord server who have been playing together for two years across many campaigns. I have spent hours crafting the VTT environment to provide a smooth and immersive experience for you, this includes a fully animated and interactive map and interactive landing page. All my combat maps are in the isometric perspective and I have utilised animations and sound effects for attacks and NPC's. While I am no voice actor, I like to give the NPCs you will meet distinct voices and accents (much to everyone's amusement).
