About the adventure
This game resides in my homebrew world of Kynine, Focused on the area of Krogir's watch and the barrier it provides to keep an undead army in and away from the rest of the world. This is a light hearted horror based game. This is beginner friendly so You don't need to have experience in the game if you are new. I plan on using 2024 rule set but for character creation I don't mind if you choose 2014 rules.

About me
Hi I'm Chris I have been playing DND for a few years now and I have a GM for about 5 years now I have run games for friends but where most of my experience comes from is the games I run at my local game shop. The Games I run at my local shop are learn to plays for kids and adults and I have been helping people find their way in the game for about just 4 years now, with people moving on to their own campaigns or sticking with the ones I run. I am friendly, patient and everyone is welcome at my table. I have no issue in helping people create characters or listen to any requests. I play my games as more an open world experience and the world you will be playing in will be a homebrew world with elements of DND books incorporated in. You will need to have access to dndbeyond for character creation we can create your character on a one to one to start with for backstory ideas and then finsh off in session 0

Homebrew rules
Drinking potions are bonus actions Critical hits are max damage plus a new roll from the damage the weapon or spell. For example if you hit with a great sword and your strength modifier is +4 your base damage would be 16 (2d6+4) you would then roll an addtional 2d6 and add that to the 16 base damage. AOE/saving throws effects. if you roll a natural 20 on a saving throw but the spell says you would take half damage you will take 0 damage. If you roll a natural 1 then you will take critical damage Everything I have mentioned is the same for NPC's and bad guys
