About the adventure

It's the night of the big Pay Per View! You have the opportunity of a lifetime. You were supposed to be opening the show, but the main eventers all went out last night and got sick on BAD FISH. Now we're rewriting the script on the fly and you've been bumped to the top the card! It's time to make yourself a superstar! World Wide Wrestling allows you take on an iconic wrestler archetype and play through promotions, matches and real backstage drama. Whether you love professional wrestling and all the nuance, or just love the idea of processional wrestling, I'll walk you through this simple 2d6 system step by step.

About me

I'm a game designer, show producer, host, queer activist and an experienced GM. I've been running at conventions for over 15 years. I've run successful games in person, online, as part of streams and on stage. I am fiercely inclusive, running mostly games that focus on dynamic relationship mechanics, with queer themes. I've been called the Kevin Bacon of Monsterhearts. I once killed Matt Mercer. . .'s character in a game of For the Queen. My pronouns are she & he series, which is not an option in the drop down.

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll create characters together. The Gimmick Sheets (for second edition) can be downloaded for free from NPDesign https://www.ndpdesign.com/wwwrpg Gimmicks are what WWW calls playbooks character classes. The sheets are good to look over but we will use a digital keeper in play

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Its a good idea to look over the gimmicks to get a couple of ideas on what toy want to play. I will send everyone a google meet link and the keeper before the game.

What Brian A Liberge brings to the table

This a theatre of the mind style game and I am here to hype yall up and give you opportunities to tell huge over the top stories. I have run this game as one shots and campaigns and I am prepared to make sure you get your spotlight. Everyone should get into two matches plus a promo for this session.

Homebrew rules

I run this game Rules as Written but will start to handwave some things towards the end if we are close on time.

Safety

How Brian A Liberge creates a safe table

I use the tools Fade to Black (for moving past a scene, but acknowledging it happened), I Would Rather (for making your desires clear in the moment) and Time Out (to signal it's time to stop and discuss). It is always an Open Table, if this is no longer a place you want to be you have no obligation to be here. No guilt, no shame
