Ben is a fantastic GM! He provides a safe table even if the source material is dark and deep. I honestly thought I would have passing interest in the campaign but Ben has surpassed my expectations. Update 5/5/24: I just want to jump back in after having played with Ben for almost a year now. He is not only an amazing GM but also just a great person all around. The amount of time and effort put into making sure that everyone at the table is having fun seems like something small but it's so much more than that. Also, the depth that he will give characters with facial expressions or body movements just brings these characters to life. It truly is astounding to me sometimes of how much fun I can have in a genre that isn't my favorite or with a game system that I would rather not be playing. Because of the richness of the storytelling I can focus more on the emotions and roleplaying opportunities that arise instead of focusing on the system itself. I've enjoyed Ben's tables so much that I singed up for another game in one of my favorite systems (Pathfinder 2E) and that game makes his work shine even more.
