About the adventure
About the adventure * You are young dragons on a mission to prove your valor to the council of Dragon city. * Start with a level 3 dragon character from a premade selection or build your own in session 0. * This short campaign uses unique material I made to test dragon rule systems. * Tough negotiations or epic battles will occur according to your actions! * This campaign is free for original backers of the Be Dragon project. This is the age of Legends, for 400 years, a lasting peace has been kept under the watchful eyes of the dragons and a flourishing alliance of humanoid species. The floating Dragon city is a brilliant beacon of hope and a symbol of stability. High crystal towers reach to cloudy skies while spiraling stone ways reach down to the surface of the azure ocean. Southwest of the city, a single island forms the testing grounds where young dragons are sent to prove their valor and discover more about themselves. You play one group of such young dragons who were finally given permission to venture into the Dragon Island...

About me
Hello and welcome, I am an experienced DM with over 30 years in Role playing games. I started playing with my family as a very young kid and was hooked ever since. I have made stories for various RPG types like DnD from second edition up to 5e, Stormbringer, Shadowrun, Warhammer, Midnight, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, Legend of the five rings, 7th Sea, Lord of the rings. I started Dming online in 2019. I enjoy making worlds and stories of high fantasy with a dash of dark horror peppered with good humor. I paint Npcs with motives and stories that players can come to befriend, love, fight or hate. As the campaigns are centered around the players, the story will track the events that brings them to legends of their world. My ultimate fun is for the players to live memorable events and stories be it from a mundane or an epic situation. I welcome beginners and veterans and I do not discriminate on any base: come as you are. All my campaigns will start with a session zero to talk about the game setting (the world you would be playing in) and a step by step help to make your characters. I also review with the players a consent list to set the proper levels regarding boundaries (social, violence, etc.) for a safe RPG experience. Currently I propose settings in the Dnd 5e Campaigns. I’m bringing to the game Homebrew worlds with unique maps and battle maps full of characters with their own motives and agenda as well as personal versions of classic monsters. Trivias: I also Dm in french. I use safety tools: initial safety form in session 0, X cards, pre and post game experience sharing. For Online Dming I use Foundry VTT. I currently use some AI for my illustrations but I'm working my way toward a zero AI illustration for my entire world and products.

Creating your character
You can select a premade character or modify one or build your own dragon completely. In session 0 and during prepration I will be explaining the steps to build dragons. I will be providing the material to build the dragons. What Truthfool brings to the table
I'm providing a homebrew campaign on Dnd 5e 2024. I will provide the foundry assets to build your dragons. I use music, I do voices. The game will be about social encounters, fights and intrigues. I don't do "complex puzzles" as I see the entire game as a puzzle already. I play rules as intended and I try my best to enpower players to try things.
Homebrew rules
Dragons :) Yes you will be playing dragons. These are a unique homebrew of mine. They are a special combo of unique backgrounds, a dragon hatchilng species (with subtypes defined by their scales) and a draconic class that allow you to branch into more of a melee fighter or a spellcaster dragon. In short you can be a bruiser dragon, a tank dragon or a spellcasting dragon (including a weird psi dragon). Major homebrew rules are: - possible resurrection failure (not for revivify spells) - heroic pursuit. You can choose to fail a death save while down to still act on your turn. Failing to stabilise while you used at least one heroic pursuit leads to death because you are conjuring your last vital forces to stand and fight.

How Truthfool creates a safe table
We can have before and after game talks as needed. I use X cards in the foundry during the game. Before the campaign: I propose a lines and veil document. But most people just message me what they don't like. During the campaign: we will do a session 0 overview of topics and check that the tone of the campaign is ok for everyone. I'll make adjustment as needed. I keep a "session 0 document" in foundry where I record the table agreements and add when needed new preferences of the group. This is very useful when players leave and a new person jumps in. The session 0 is reviewed with them to check that they are ok with it. If not we have a group discussion to see how to adapt the current games.
