About the adventure

You have been invited to a battle of the bands contest–with a twist. Demon hunters from around the globe have gathered to celebrate the big win for Huntrix! All of you come from various artistic backgrounds that help you hunt demons in your own country. The unrest in most countries have grown quieter now that Honmoon is sealed. But of course things can’t stay quiet for long. You find yourselves away from the main party. The few of you who gathered here feel a little unsettled. In an attempt to soothe anxiety a Jpop Singer, Haruka, attempts to start a conversation. Before she can get very far, you all hear a commotion from the main party. Demons are attacking the party goers! Not just native ones from Korea, but various ones from around the world. All of these malevolent creatures are taking out their anger on the hunters–all of which cannot summon their weapons. Your isolated group, however, is perfectly capable of calling your weapons to defend yourselves. Now how are you going to get through this mess?

About me

I've been playing table top RPGs since 2005! I primarily played in post by play games, but in 2007 I managed to find a 3.5 D&D group. I started officially GMing in 2018 with a Changeling the Lost game. When the pandemic started I started DMing for the same group with 5.0 and they absolutely loved it. About a year and a half ago I started teaching D&D for the local After School Arts Program! Since Roleplaying teaches children creative problem solving skills, it's been a popular class that parents have been interested in. I have GMed Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Monster of the Week, an experimental RPG currently being play tested, Dungeons and Dragons and Triangle Agency. I've also played Vaesen, Various Post by Play Rule systems, D&D, and Call of Cthulhu. I am also a professional artist and work at a Non-Profit Art Center in the USA.

What Geri brings to the table

I am not strict on rules as written, and am part of the Rule of Cool school. My games primarily focus on character development and people developing their play styles. I do most of the art for my games, and sometimes as a reward for completing a campaign I draw the party's characters together. I also have a good deal of the DnD Beyond library as well as supplementary material at my disposal.

Safety

How Geri creates a safe table

Session 0: We will cover topics that a player does not want to experience in the campaign. We also go over lines and veils. The Red X: The typical safety method I use during gameplay. If you are feeling uncomfortable put a red X or multiple X's in the discord chat. Game play will be paused! Breaks: 10-15 minute breaks can be called at any time.
