About the adventure
Set sail with Blondebeard’s crew in search of the mythical Faerie Isle—a place whispered about in sailor’s songs, where gold rains from the sky and mischief rules the land. Some say it’s ruled by The Pink Dust, a faerie artist of unearthly charm and chaotic whims. This is a whimsical, high-fantasy Daggerheart one-shot full of adventure, pranks, strange relics, tricksome fae and greedy pirates. You’ll explore a pastel dreamscape of pirates, illusions, and possibly get cursed in the process. 🎲 All experience levels welcome—even if you’ve never played a TTRPG before! 🧭 What to Expect: -Nautical exploration and swashbuckling misadventure -Tricksy fae magic and weird moral dilemmas -Piratey roleplay with surreal faerie dream-logic -Narrative-first rules

About me
So, the last time we left off, I was an avid fan of tabletop roleplaying games and interactive storytelling since childhood. After many years of theatre and fiction, I had properly started my ttrpg adventure with DnD 5e and CoC about 6 years ago. My first few years were mostly spent convincing friends to give these games a chance, it thought me a lot about the beauty of starting this hobby and how exciting it is to see someone take their first steps into it. Ever since then I've loved playing with beginners and newcomers. But boy was I ready for more! Since starting this journey I had the chance to work as a pro DM in taverns, create TTRPG communities, start a multimedia brand where we talk and play ttrpgs (@durundragons) and even develop my own game system suited for a Harry Potter-themed campaign, minus the terfs. I have always been a storyteller at heart but what I came to love most about this form is how unexpected and astounding it is to be in awe of your players. I grew to feel less like a game master and more like the world in which my players create and tell the most fantastical, dramatic stories. But, this was all just the beginning... What new adventures and dramatic twists await me and my brave heroes? To find out, let's dive in together to tonight's session!

Creating your character
I will provide 7 premade characters for this one shot. They each have some parts of their backgrounds and connections to others established, but it'll be up to you to flesh them out and bring them to life!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a camera, a mic and your imagination. Pen and paper would help you out with keeping track of what's going on but they are not a necessity. We will be rolling dice, you can either bring your own or use an app or I can roll for you if you wish. However, I'd recommend rolling your own dice since it's fun! You can just add me on Discord at Defhan #7283 and we'll take it from there.
What Defhan brings to the table
I will be bringing the rulebook for Daggerheart as well as the documents needed for this adventure. I do love this system and if you're new to the system or TTRPGs do not fret! I will take you through the rules and details, but I'm always a great defender of the Rule of Cool, so we will make do as we go along. I also love using music to emphasize the story! Of course this is completely optional, but I'll be providing a soundscape throughout the entire game.
