Meet the Game Master
About me
Goodmorning, Goodafternoon, Goodevening! It's a pleasure for you to stop by! This British Dungeon master you've decided to ponder at has a passion for Roleplay, improvisation, story and combat! I graduated Theatre and drama as a practitioner, actor, and writer, and have been engrossed in D&D for about 10 years. My beginnings were back in my local game store, as a monk wearing orange sweatpants, and ever since I've never looked back. Playing was never enough, I was drawn to DMing, my first game being in my house entirely on a giant scroll of paper, now my house is teeming with terrain, books, and miniatures. With 5 full 2-year campaigns, 1 Homebrew and 1 set in MTG's Innistrad but mostly homebrew, an Underdark homebew, a Wildmount irl homebrew game and a nearly completed Icewind Dale to 20, under my belt. I'm always looking for new adventurers to join me on our stories! I've some campaigns still on going. An Icewind Dale game, and a Wild beyond the Witchlight! My biggest Achievement is managing an upwards of 15 player mega campaign called Barside, a come and go adventure group which ran like many one shots that canonically linked together to fullfill a long written story. It's approaching it's end this summer but I can't understate how proud of the achievements made in that game! I've been running games entirely on roll20, but I'm also looking to expand my horizons to Talespire too! It's been my dream since I was young to act and share stories as a living, and 12 years of Improv, theatre, and writing training has led me to want to do this for a living. I'm heavily influenced by other Anime, video games, and films. I try to replicate The epic combat imagery of stuff like the Fate Series. I hope to bring amazing worlds, alike Tolkein, and I'm working on becoming the magic voice box that is Matthew Mercer. I'll show you a good game and, with some good rolls and great jokes along the way, share some awesome stories with you! Creating your character
Characters will be finalised during session 0 (which will be free of Charge), you're more than welcome to come up with ideas, but I don't believe in player Vs DM, and want to help you create your character. I also have a couple additional character creation rules, nothing massive, we will use an adjusted Roll for stats system, and I also have a character builder for backstories to help those who aren't massively confident at making backstories.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Microphones, accounts in roll20 and discord are a must. Cameras are optional, however I will be using one. Don't worry about knowing the rules, or bringing books. I have all of that covered. If you have any questions, my messages are always open and welcomed. I love talking Dungeons and Dragons
What Dawid P brings to the table

How Dawid P creates a safe table
Mostly RP, interacting with NPCs I'll follow the books as best to support the group. If you guys go on a tangent, we'll explore it and I'll find a way to bring you back on track If we need to. The games will be mostly sandbox as much as the books allow, with the narrative being as important as you guys make it. We'll start with a session 0.5 Half of it will include making characters, discussing what you guys want from the game and beginning to plan backstories. After which we will start whichever campaign you've chosen. We'll be playing weekly with a consistent meeting time. Settings Currently Prepared: Dragon Heist (low level, great opener) A trove a gold has been reported to be somewhere in the busy city of Waterdeep, who will reach the treasures, will it be you? or will it be one of the many nefarious Villains who've chosen to join in this rat-race. Icewind Dale (Horror, Dark, Low to Mid Level) At the spine of the world, the barren and cold lands of icewind dale have suffered from a persistant night for 2 years, thanks to the omniscient reach of the God Auril. What treasures, secrects and mysteries have been buried deep under snow? Descent into avernus. (Low to High Level, Devils, monsters and magic.) Thrust into the middle of a blood war, the adventurers of baldurs gate who are breaking at the seams, need some of the bravest to dive into hell and bring back a solution to this continental problem. Ebberron (Any level, High fantasy, high magic) During the time of healing after a great war, guilds work to claim what's left and rebuild what once was. Will you be a part of the repairs If we complete a campaign and you guys want to continue to a next one, that will 100% be on the table. 'Safety tools will be Red / Yellow Lights and open discussions about what people want and don't want in their game!
