About the adventure
The gods are restless. Fate’s tapestry has been torn and rewoven, and the mortal realm shakes under the weight of prophecy. One name—yours—echoes in Nyx and beyond. To earn redemption, glory, or survival, you are bound to complete Twelve Divine Labors, each more impossible than the last. From the unkillable lion of Nylea’s woods to dragging Cerberus from Erebos’s Underworld, your journey will carve your name into legend—or leave it as dust on the altar of the gods. What to Expect 🔸 Epic, escalating challenges: Each Labor is a self-contained arc blending monster hunts, divine puzzles, and moral tests. 🔹 Godly meddling: Heliod, Nylea, Erebos, and others weave blessings and curses into every step of your path. 🔸 Mythic monsters: Unique mythic-action bosses inspired by Heracles’s Labors, reimagined for Theros’s divine landscape. 🔹 Moral weight: Solve Labors through combat, diplomacy, or cunning; your choices shift divine favor and shape destiny. 🔸 Legendary rewards: Relics, divine boons, and the chance at apotheosis await those who survive the twelfth Labor. A crime, a curse, a bargain with a god—you owe the divine a debt only paid in blood and glory. The oracle speaks: “Twelve doors, twelve trials. Twelve steps to Nyx or to nothing. Fail, and your name is forgotten.” 🔸 The gods are watching. 🔹 The world is listening. 🔸 Will you rise as a hero of Theros—or fall as a warning in another’s myth?

Creating your character
🔸 Starting Level: All players will begin at Level 1. This campaign follows a heroic progression, with characters growing from mortal champions to living legends. 🔹 When: Character creation will take place before the first session, with a short introduction of each hero at the table during Session 1. 🔸 Stats: We’ll use Point Buy or Standard Array for ability scores to ensure balanced heroes. Rolling for stats is not used in this campaign to maintain mythic parity. 🔹 Races: Characters must be created using Theros-specific races only: Leonin, Satyr, Triton, Minotaur, Centaur, Human (Theros variant) 🔸 Classes: All official 5E classes are allowed. Subclasses from Mythic Odysseys of Theros are encouraged to tie into the setting’s divine themes. 🔹 Backgrounds: Any official background is allowed, but Theros-specific ones (like Athlete, Nyxborn, or Oracle) are strongly encouraged to tie into the mythic tone.
