About the adventure
If you're a Stormlight fan, but have never played an rpg, this is for you. If you're a Stormlight fan and have played rpgs, this is still a game for you. If you're any combination of the above, this is a game for you! It's an introductory adventure, with starting characters, all designed to teach you the system and intrigue you with the world. Cause it's a pretty darn neat world. The system will be familiar to anyone who's rolled a d20 in any era, but it has a lot of neat stuff all to itself. The adventure will ease us all into the world with a fun expeditionary story! This is listed as a one-shot, but we'll do it over two sessions to avoid rushing things and allow learning time.

What Simon Kaye brings to the table
The most consistent thing, especially for this kind of game, is that I like to stick to RAW. In my mind, RAW should be cool and exciting and it's too early to be making a lot of house rules. I will handwave some things though, for speed and such.

How Simon Kaye creates a safe table
I'll gather lines and veils ahead of time, so I can make adjustments as needed. X cards will be in play and I'll also present a consent checklist. To clarify the content warnings, the setting has some baked-in fantasy racism between the peoples. I'll run the adventure as default, but will totally adjust that to suit everyone's comfort levels.
