About me

Hi I'm Sparks! Storytelling - Home Brewing - Role Playing - World Traveling - Me! I'm a sociologist by training (that's Dr. Sparkstron9000 to you, thank you very much) and I like to build games, characters, factions, and settings that are a little more Dune than LotR. Join me if you want to explore cultural variations on morality and intimate themes like faith, the nature of magic, and the philosophical underpinnings of society. Let's create a game collaboratively, develop meaningful character arcs and NPCs, and explore deep mysteries of life, the mind and the Absurd... in very silly voices. If you want to game with a strong mix of character driven role play, meaningful and thematic exploration, significant and challenging combat, then I just might be the GM for you. For short games (published modules with a limited run time) I'm happy to more or less jump right in with limited input on character creation. For longer modules and home brew, I use a full suite of safety tools, including session zero, regular check-ins / after care, and anonymous player surveys to for feedback.
