About the adventure
Dive into a custom, player-focused campaign that will attract fans of “Stargate,” "Jet Li’s: The One," and "The Spider-Verse." Shemeshka, the Arcanaloth Manager of Fortune's Wheel Casino, tasks you with finding a missing Modron named R04M, who holds key data on "The Glitch." And recording your observations of the planes with a “Mimir,” a magical, skull-shaped recording device. • “Only You Can Stop Cosmic Realignment!” Embark on a journey through the “Glitched” Outlands to visit the Gate Towns. Restoring balance to the multiverse or creating new problems along the way. • Glimpse "The Lady of Pain" and her attendants, the Dabu, who communicate solely through rebuses, Word puzzles that appear above their heads. • Become a Faction Member in this planar metropolis. Perusing magical items in its bazaar from across the multiverse! • Plus, so much more! Estimated runtime of 28–36 games, ending around levels 3–10. With a Jump to Levels 17-18 near the end.

About me
**LGBTQ+ friendly and supportive! My family, friends, and loved ones mean the world to me. No asshats, no exceptions.** Hello, players! My name is Rascal (He/Him), but you can call me Sam. I'm from just outside the Chicago area and have two cats with my partner of 10 years. I am a certified story junkie. I consume content like a voracious world eater, devouring every book, game, show, and obscure film I can find. While I've explored a lot of material, there are still many more things I'd love to experience, and I always welcome suggestions. I'm particularly interested in RPGs (Role-Playing Games) and B-rate movies; they're my jam! I began playing tabletop games in 2007 when I was twelve years old. As a long-time Player, GM (Game Master), and Writer, I have completed over a dozen campaigns ranging from level 1 to level 20. I’ve participated in more than 1,100 tabletop game sessions across various formats, with just under 9,000 hours of experience. I have maintained a successful weekly game—sometimes multiple games per week—since I began playing. **TL;DR:** No Asshats, No Exceptions. You can call me Rascal (He/Him). With 18+ years of experience in playing and running TTRPGs (Tabletop Role-Playing Games). When it comes to story, combat, and production, I’m the go-to guy.

Creating your character
Campaigns: In Session Zer0, we'll cover character creation together. You'll get details on approved books and homebrew rules via Discord after Onboarding. Homebrew races and subclasses may be used with GM approval. See other homebrew examples below.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a Discord Account. You can play everything on your PC or Smartphone! Sound is the most important; you might want to use a Microphone and Headphones. A camera is not necessary. But, if you do have a camera, you can use it to roll real dice instead of using our dice bot in Discord! Make sure all your devices are charged, and don’t forget to grab a drink and a snack! Beyond that, bring a positive mindset and a healthy sense of humor!
What rascallywriter1k brings to the table
**I am a Bombastic, Lore-Master GM Focused on Player-Driven Games and Improvisation** • “He (Rascallywriter1k) has a very special talent of navigating player decisions while keeping the group on track to their goals. His focus on individual character growth is something unrivaled with other dms that's I've played with.” – Autumn. • “He's (Rascallywriter1k’s) got a great sense of humor, treats everyone fairly, and is always respectful. He's also incredibly patient with beginners, always willing to kindly explain rules and the finer points of the game.” – Decxtronomous. • “… Sam (Rascallywriter1k) makes it (Playing TTRPGs) easy to understand. The gameplay is always fun and interesting, and I’m able to do it all from my phone!” – Grace. I am currently using the following 5E Dungeons & Dragons resources: "Planescape: Turn of Fortunes Wheel,” “Morte’s Planar Parade,” “Sigil and the Outlands,” as well as references from the PC Game “Planescape: Torment.”
Homebrew rules
There are no restrictions on character creation (within reason), but all characters must be reviewed. Please refer to the Homebrew List on the Discord for more details. • When rolling stats, use 4D6 (Rerolling any 1s) and remove the lowest die, adding the results of the other three. Do this 6 times and send those 6 numbers to your GM for review. • For health, you can maximize it up to level 3. When leveling up after that, if your health is below half, reroll to increase it: for example, roll again if you get a 3 or lower on a D8, or a 2 or lower on a D6. • If you get the same skill from your background and your class, it can be an expertise skill (Double Proficiency). Or you can choose another extra proficiency instead. • Additionally, add your Intelligence modifier to bonus skill, language, or tool proficiencies.

How rascallywriter1k creates a safe table
Using Session Zer0, we will establish interests, tone, settings, and expectations, including lines and veils. I focus on customizing player experiences by dedicating time to help you develop your character's backstory and seamlessly integrate them into the world. A copy of our lines and veils will always be available on our Discord server. **Content Warnings:** This game is rated R due to extreme violence, strong language, and possible character death. I will share major events without including spoilers; players are welcome to discuss these events with me at any time. If anyone feels they are not a good fit for this game, I am happy to make any adjustments or help them find another game that will be just as fun to play!
