Druids of the Carnivorous Jungle
The aggressive spread of empires threatens the forested homes of the Druids as lumber used to construct cities and settlements rips away sacred land.
About the adventure
Hello there! This is a one shot I'm running for new and experienced players. Your characters are a group of young Druids trying to find a new home for your tribe in the carnivorous jungle of Fangroot. All the druids are being forced from their homes due to the continued expansion of the world’s greatest powers. Their options are few but your group of youngins has chosen to brave the dangers of the carnivorous jungle and make it your own!

Great game, great DM. I played a one shot with Bora and two other plays. What I liked most of all was the pace was, for me, perfect. I sometimes struggle to remain focused, but this game got right to the good stuff and didn't stop. Kept my attention throughout and I had a great time. Good use of VTT to enhance gameplay (again - keeping things moving!) and common sense GM decisions to keep it fun for us. The adventure was fun, challenging and we were encouraged to play our characters and enjoy ourselves. Sadly, we all died - but that was how the dice fell! Probably one of more enjoyable games played online. Would play with again and so should you!
Character creation
Creating your character
You will be playing level 2 characters with an extra free feat. Character creation should be done in roll20. Since this is a one-shot, I'd like for you to create your characters beforehand but I'M always available to create them with you before the game :) ! Pre-made characters with their own backstories and personalities are also available!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You only need a functioning mic and accounts for Discord and Roll20!
What Bora brings to the table
I usually go for the rule of cool (as long as it's not overused). You can expect a good ratio of combat and roleplaying. I am, of course, up to going over the rules and clearing doubts with new players!
Homebrew rules
I like to use a homebrew rule for potions where you can drink them as a bonus action and roll the health gained or drink it as an action and gain the full health possible.

How Bora creates a safe table
For every game I run, I start by asking what the players are comfortable with showing up in the game. Anything that makes a player uncomfotable will be banned/removed from the game. I also tell my players to say "Red button!" or "Stop!" in the middle of game if they're feeling uncomfortable for any reason; once this happens we will simply stop and skip whatever is happenning and talk about what happened if the player's willing to (This is known as the Luxton Technique).
