About the adventure
Step into the twilight world beneath the surface, where the once-peaceful halls of Eclivian’s Enclave lie in shambles. An ancient, forgotten evil has stirred, rallying priests, cultists, and twisted beasts to its dark banner—and now they hunt at the edges of the Underdark, seeking to drag powerful slaves into their shadowed kingdom. You and your allies have answered a desperate plea from Matriarch Leszyr Hlatlar, the steadfast leader of the goodly drow, to travel into ruined caverns, unravel a sinister plot, and rescue those taken in the night. This level 5 one-shot weaves exploration, tense social encounters, and thrilling combat into an evening of suspense and heroism. You will: Investigate the wrecked enclave and piece together clues to the cult’s true master. Negotiate with suspicious survivors, risking both bloodshed and diplomacy. Confront dangerous foes in the echoing caverns, where every shadow may hide a trap or a traitor. Ideal for groups who love a balanced adventure—players with a taste for rich role-playing, moral dilemmas, and action-packed set-piece battles. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned veteran, you’ll find stakes high, choices meaningful, and the fate of an entire people hanging in the balance. Sharpen your blades, prepare your spells, and steel your hearts: beneath the earth, darkness awakens—and only you can stand against it.

About me
New DM. Big imagination. Your story matters. Hi! I’m Spencer, a newer Dungeon Master who’s deeply passionate about storytelling, worldbuilding, and giving players a space to explore their characters, choices, and consequences. While I’m still early in my DM journey, I’ve already run multiple one-shots with a variety of players—and I’m now stepping into running longer-form campaigns with rich character arcs and evolving storylines. I focus on roleplay, emotional stakes, and world immersion. My games lean into character-driven stories, moral choices, and player creativity, while still keeping the rules in mind. I’m not here to show off—I’m here to help you tell a meaningful story and have fun doing it. What to Expect: A welcoming, flexible DM who listens and adapts Safe, inclusive games with open communication Story-focused sessions with opportunities for combat, exploration, and character development A homebrew world with unique factions, secrets, and mythologies (unless you would like to do a module set in a certain setting). I currently run games over DND Beyond maps, but willing to try a new platform, using Discord for communcation, and I’m always happy to do a Session Zero to create a shared vision and comfort for the group. Whether you’re new to D&D or a veteran looking for a thoughtful table, I’d love to run something for you. Let’s roll some dice and build something unforgettable.

Creating your character
Everyone will be using point buy or standard array to create their character. You can use the 2014 rules and any related wizards of the coast content. The Discord Server will have more details for this process.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure your character is made with a small backstory mainly to help you decide how your character will act. Then make sure to join the discord and the campaign in dnd beyond.
What Loaver brings to the table
We will be using DND Beyond for almost everything. We will use discord for communication. I have also bought a lot of dnd content and can share that with folks. I also love player creativity so if you want to try something I will try my best (within the rules) to see it out! I do have access to some well made maps and have been practicing making my own maps. If you know the DM Lair at all I have also bought a bunch of content from there and may use some of their sources in out campaign to help ensure high quality content for everyone! I am also going to look into making custom tokens for the custom enemies I have planned.

How Loaver creates a safe table
We will have a quick little session 0 to set expectations, premise of the one-shot, and introduce ourselves and characters. Throughout you can message me on discord with any questions or concerns and I will respond. Also have a quick little debrief to see how session went and for general feedback.
