The Road to Hammerdrier, a tale of Wandermere
The environment is changing catastrophically! The Dwarven city of Hammerdrier was built on an ancient volcano that is beginning to awaken.
About the adventure
The environment is changing catastrophically! The Dwarven city of Hammerdrier was built in the crater of an ancient volcano that has recently become active and indicates it may blow in a massive eruption. Meanwhile a priest of Erikki (the Dwarven God) is hunting down an ancient and dangerous artifact. With omens and prophecy telling of the city’s destruction and the freeing of an ancient evil. Will the PC’s save the city or let it be destroyed to stop a prophecy of even greater destruction? Will the priest get the artifact he’s looking for and why has he betrayed his faith? Hidden in the ancient politics of the dwarven nations a thousand years forgotten, can the PC’s make it out in one piece? Every chapter is designed to be approximately one level worth of experience for a standard party of 4 using D&D 5e. This adventure takes place in The Kingdom of Wandermere (https://wandermere.obsidianportal.com/). It is highly desirable to have a Druid or Ranger in the party and necessary to have a trap finder to achieve success. Many of the puzzles require four party members, representing strength, arcane, divine, and stealth. Attempting them without the correct mix will not end well. Having a Dwarf in the party, while not necessary, is extremely helpful. I would like to thank so many people for helping me with this immense project, mostly those who helped play test, Mike, Chris, Chris, and John, I couldn’t have done it without you. Here I would like to dedicate a few sparse lines for Posh the Wizard (Combusted), Giant the Paladin (Impaled by Rhino) Titan the Barbarian (Burnt Uther gas trap), and Leroy the Rogue (Burnt Uther gas trap). Your sacrifices made it all worthwhile, thank you! And as for you Arath, I promise you will go down in infamy!

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Inclusive
Teacher
Creativity
As a queer woman I don't always feel welcome, that's never been the case at this table. Plus I've always had my ideas supported, if you want to make something cool happen with your character, they'll find a way for it to work so long as it doesn't ruin the game for anyone else. Just always been a great table!
Character creation
Creating your character
We use loads of custom content. Because of this we have to manually enter character information into DnDBeyound. Character creation will be completed on DnDBeyound.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players will need a DnDBeyound Account and access to Discord. We will send the game invite to each player.
What Michael brings to the table
We create most of our own art, maps, tokens and miniatures. We utilize DnDBeyound and Discord for chat, checks and combat.

How Michael creates a safe table
Session 0 is for finalizing character creation and going over the basic themes contained in our Adventure. We will provide a copy of our Lines and Veils at that time. This adventure takes place in a much wider world and as such, players who veer from the storyline may encounter unexpected themes. The GM is always available for a private message if something is occurring that you have an issue with. We do our best to make sure everyone has fun.
