About the adventure
Welcome to SkyGuard, or the world of Vathra. In Vathra, there are no gods, nor are there demons. instead, there are powerful mages that protect people from the threats of this world's blue sun, or the banshee as it is called. Travel to different kingdoms and empires as you go on your journey, or visit strange islands in seas that surround this land, and be prepared for things you don't expect. This campaign consists of a healthy amount of role-play and combat. players will also be given more say in the world and be allowed to introduce places and people (at the GM's discretion) throughout the campaign. the campaign will have the party be proactive instead of reactive to the story, allowing players to immerse themselves in the vast expanse of Vathra! I'm very excited to have you at the table if you choose to join and excited to see what character you come up with for this campaign.

Hey, My name is yahya, I have been playing dnd for 7 years now and have been a GM for 6 years. I am used to running games for 2-6 players at a time of all different kinds, such as power gamers or role-players, oftentimes both with new players as well.

Creating your character
character creation will be done at session 0. there are no firearms in this world. stats will be standard (+2, +1, +1, 0, 0, -1) player starting level will be 1 your characters will be created on roll20 and demiplane.

What yahya brings to the table
I prefer rules as written but will go into rule of cool if I believe that the action calls for it. the combat will be difficult, along with that, they will be rewarding and meaningful. I will provide a safe place for fun and jokes and to learn the mechanics. I will provide maps for you to better understand your surroundings. I can and will do different character voices (I like to believe I am better than most but that is up to you). if you have a cool idea, I will work with you to make it work. I will provide the content needed to play the game on demiplane (content sharing) I will be aware of any phobias and other things and take special care to make sure that you don't have to interact with anything like that.

How yahya creates a safe table
once you join the server, you may send me a private message or just send a message in the lines and veils chat about your lines and veils, it is alright either way, it's simply an option. if I have questions then I will ask them in session 0 or talk to you privately if you prefer it. we will have a session 0 where will will talk to each other, make our characters and make sure that everyone is ok with everyone else being at the table and resolve differences if they come up.
