About the adventure

Your evening is ruined. All plans are off after you received a frantic call from Dr. Lawrence Warwick, a consulting physician who, until now, worked at a variety of hospitals across the East Coast. Recently, Warwick lost his position at St. Mary’s Teaching Hospital in Arkham due to a dereliction of his duties, which was probably “code” for some sort of scandal. Authorities revoked his medical license, barring him from practice. Dropping whatever you were doing, you have responded to his call. You’ve taken it upon yourselves to find Warwick and figure out exactly what’s happening. 🗺️ Illustrative maps, handouts, and other game tools 🎭 Professional theatrical storytelling with dynamic NPCs 🎸 Soundtrack and ambient noise to heighten the mood 🖥️ All official game resources to begin your investigations 🔍 Beginner-friendly 🏳️‍🌈 Inclusive environment for all identities, in and out of game Bits & PIeces is a one-shot scenario designed to introduce new players to the seventh edition of Call of Cthulhu. Based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft - Solve the mystery before the madness (or something worse) consumes you!

About me

I love RPGs. I love Horror. When I was little, I found (and fell in love with) the VAMPIRE: MASQUERADE books. I had them all - but no one to play with. Tragic. When I grew up and found my calling as an actor - I thought I would take a stab at RPGs by inviting my castmates to play "theatre games" (lol). I found I had quite the knack for GMing. I've been GMing/playing Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder, Fiasco, Kids on Brooms, They Came From Beyond the Grave and the likes for about 10+ years. As the "organized one" - I've always been a natural GM (lol). Being an actor, my friends are scattered around the globe - so online hosting has been my goto (though I do like a good home game when I can manage it). I like to immerse my players not only with words but photos, maps and soundscapes. I find Roll 20 to be an excellent way to manage and track games - Discord an excellent way to gather players to chat and notetake - and Syrinscape an excellent way to add tension through music/sound - and I hope you will join me in a session or two!

Shaun was a terrific GM - engaging, entertaining, patient, and funny. The game was an absolute blast and four hours went by in a blink. I would encourage anyone who has an interest in CoC to take advantage of his expertise and join a game he runs - you will have an incredible time. If he ever runs a longer and/or paid campaign, I fully expect it to fill up instantly so don't miss out!

Shaun is a fantastic keeper. I could leave it at that. He’s prepared for everything you can throw at him, and believe me we’ve thrown some odd stuff at him. He’s knowledgeable about not only the system but the setting. Like Arkham is his hometown. Need to buy a gun? Sure go here oh and here’s a handout of prices. His weekly recaps are absolutely welcome and brings you right back into the action. As far as the running of the game, Shaun is second to none. He gives each NPC their own voice, each feels unique and like a fully fleshed out character. His ability to set a scene and drive tension gives you a sense of urgency when needed, but then he can step back and adapt to slide of life rp. Overall my experience with Shaun has been extraordinary. I can’t recommend him enough to players looking for a game of Cthulu.
