About the adventure

In the grand City of Splendors, Waterdeep, a dark and sinister mystery is unfolding. Rumors abound of strange, mechanical undead creatures lurking in the shadows and skulking through the city's winding alleys and hidden underbelly. These abominations, an unsettling fusion of rotting flesh and whirring gears, have been sighted with increasing frequency, spreading unease and terror among the populace. The city watch is baffled, unable to determine the origin or purpose of these unnatural beings. Some whisper that a mad necromancer is behind the undead incursion, while others murmur of dark rituals and forbidden magic best left buried. As the sightings escalate and panic grips the city, it becomes clear that these undead monstrosities are merely harbingers of a far greater and more malevolent threat stirring in the depths of Waterdeep. Grim machinations are in motion, with diabolical forces poised to unleash untold horrors upon the unsuspecting city. Only the bravest and most cunning heroes dare investigate these mysteries, delving deep into the cities darkest secrets to uncover the truth - and, if they're valiant and fortunate, save the city from the impending darkness before it consumes everything in its path.

Probably one of the best DM experiences I've had in years. He's engaging. I was thoroughly entertained. Great visual aids; a terrific narrator, and even allows for player creativity while still holding within practicality in game rules. Looking forward to the next session.

Geoff is really passionate and puts his all into his games. Really fun and engaging combat coupled with voices and the full power of Foundry at his disposal make for entertaining and memorable sessions, with great care for all aspects of play and the players at the virtual table. I highly recommend giving Geoff a shot if you're looking for a GM who will give his all to help you ease into a fantasy adventure you for sure will not want to miss out on.

"I had an amazing experience with Geoff! He was incredibly prepared, kept the story engaging, and were excellent at balancing player input with the narrative. I appreciated how he handled both roleplay and combat scenarios, making sure everyone felt involved and had a good time. Their ability to adapt to unexpected twists and incorporate players' choices into the storyline was top-notch. If you're looking for a GM who’s creative, communicative, and fun to play with, I highly recommend Geoff!"

Always asks for feedback to improve his game. Made my character pretty poorly at the start cause I was (and still am) pretty new to ttrpgs. He allowed me to change it even after getting to level 7. Funny and good voice work.

Geoff is hands down one of the best Dungeon Masters I've had the pleasure of gaming with. He's not just good; he's fantastic. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to roll with curveballs we throw his way. Whether we're trying to negotiate with a monster, seduce an NPC, or convince a group of bandits to join our cause, Geoff is always ready with a creativity that keeps the game flowing and the laughs coming. His voices, acting, and VTT work is wonderful. I swear, sometimes I forget I'm not talking to a goblin or town mayor. Plus, his commitment to running combat encounters with real stakes? It's like being in the middle of an action-packed fantasy movie. You can bet your bottom gold piece that every decision matters and every roll of the dice is important. I've been playing with Geoff for a while, and have noticed a few comments that seem completely off base from my experience with him. I have not seen any tendency to railroad or force us into doing anything and instead, I'm having an amazing time exploring the setting and world! As far as resource constraints (as I saw in one post) Well, ok, he doesn't run a Monty Haul campaign, but I've never wanted for anything on my character and any "resource" that we need has been available. -Geoff encourages player creativity like nobody's business -His voices? Seriously, they're amazing -Combat encounters with Geoff are thrilling, with real consequences -He knows the rules inside and out, so you never have to worry about things getting bogged down In short, if you're looking for a Dungeon Master who's not only great at what he does but also a blast to play with, look no further than Geoff.
