About the adventure

Welcome to the Jungle! A death curse has befallen everyone who’s been raised from the dead. Its victims are rotting away, and all efforts to reverse the decay have failed. The souls of the dead are being stolen one by one and trapped inside a necromantic artifact. Only it’s destruction will free the trapped spirits and allow the dead to be raised once more. All paths lead to Chult, a mysterious land of volcanoes, jungles, and the ruins of fallen kingdoms. Below them all awaits a deadly tomb. The trap is set. Will you take the bait?

Keeps the adventures running smoothly and makes sure everyone is having a great time! 10/10… Join our game! Most fun with a character I’ve had in a long time. The combat encounters have been a blast.

DJ runs a very fun and fair table. His 33 years experience running games really comes though. He is mostly a rules as written type DM but is willing to be somewhat flexible when it makes sense within the story or the game mechanics as written don’t make sense in certain situations. He genuinely loves dming as much as the players love playing which makes for a great experience for everyone at the table.

DJ knows his stuff, is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to challenge his players. He helped negotiate a party introduction that didn't handwave potential friction but rather allowed us to start a bond and start working together organically. He knows the rules, his world, and what happens in it. All while being friendly and new player flexible as well. Great fella

Playing with DJ has been a lot of fun, and very helpful as a newcomer to the DnD 5e system. I have learned a lot, and he keeps the action moving while allowing time for characters to role play. A great first experience on Start Playing!

Very patient, laid back and knowledgeable of the rules and FALLOUT universe. Always willing to lend a hand and keeps a good pacing for the game.

Character creation
Creating your character

At Session 0/1 we will make character together and play just a few hours, Session 2 or beyond the characters will be made during the story I will do my best to help but I hope we all can learn a new system together.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

A computer or phone are required to play, and you will need have a discord other than that use should be fine. I have taught many of brand-new players how to play and have played with many of gamers with even more knowledge than myself and we always seem to have a great time.

What DJ brings to the table

I use Discord, an HD cam and google drive (which has most game character sheets, players handbooks and such), from there we should be able to run almost any game we would like to play.

Homebrew rules

Potions as bonus action, Standard Array Ability Scores, Crits deal max + dice roll (instead of roll twice), Up to three inspiration max
