Creating your character

Completely player-directed, come as you are or create a new hero for your session! Want a party? - No problem! (Pricing adjusted per player.) The Velvet Glove itself has an extremely accommodating and diverse cast staffing it, with the possibilities limited only by your imagination. You'll have the opportunity to submit a detailed fillable-form so we can cater to all your preferences, pleasures, and power dynamics, then we'll have a short session 0 to discuss the game layout!

Preparing for the session

A mic and account is needed to interact over private Discord server; a D&D Beyond account to join the campaign; and enough time to make a connection.

What Kajmar brings to the table

No need for bells or whistles! This particular game is heavy on "Theater-of-the-Mind" playstyle. D&D Beyond will be needed for character creation and dice rolls, and voice (or post) interactions are held over a private Discord channel. All Adults Welcome; Rule of Cool; Don't Hate - Decapitate! Session acts, verbalizations, or other behavior that violate any in-use platform's legal contract and/or the GM-Player terms (agreed upon before the start of the game), are subject to: Immediate removal from play WITHOUT refund; usage of StartPlaying's Incident Reporting; Discord server and/or user ban; and ALL/ANY additional user-based incident reporting that can be submitted in alignment with the appropriate platform/s protocols.

How Kajmar creates a safe table

🛡 Safety Tools in Use: In order to play in a way that prioritizes your comfort, trust, and emotional safety there are some tools we've established. Matters of the heart can get intense, and matters of the flesh aren't always easy — so we make sure you’re always in control of your experience. Here are the tools we’ll use: 🧩 Devil in the Details Before play begins, we’ll have a collaborative discussion to cover characters, set tone expectations, and establish comfort zones. This gives you a chance to shape the story with us from a safe, shared foundation. 🚪 Open Door Policy You can step away from the game at any time, for any reason — no explanation needed. This includes short breaks, long breaks, or leaving the game entirely. Your wellbeing always comes first. 🔥 Lines and Veils We’ll set boundaries together: A link to a fillable-form outlining your desired playstyle, and what to avoid will be shared before your adventure. Lines are hard limits — things we won't include in the game at all. Veils are topics that can exist, but will fade to black or happen offscreen. ✅ Monte Cook Consent Checklist A pre-game consent checklist sent to you before your session start helps us agree on what content you're okay with, what should be handled carefully, and what’s off-limits — no surprises, no pressure. 🛑 Breaks & Check-ins Breaks will be built into the session naturally, and anyone can call for an extra break at any time. I’ll also check in after intense scenes to make sure everyone’s okay. 💬 Debriefing At the end of each session, we’ll take a few minutes to reflect on what felt good, what didn’t, and anything we want to adjust moving forward. This helps keep the experience collaborative and evolving in a healthy way.
