Playing with DM Paul has been a lot of fun. He brings an incredible level of detail and care to every session. From atmospheric lighting and environmental sounds to immersive music cues, every element in Foundry is fine-tuned to draw players deeper into the world. He even customizes each player’s interface and ensures that all abilities and features function seamlessly, which makes the experience both smooth and cinematic. The module we’re exploring captures the spirit of old-school D&D—tactically rich combat, creative problem-solving, and a strong sense of adventure. Paul has a real gift for pacing; he keeps the action moving while balancing humor, urgency, and gravitas. The result is a game that feels alive, with real stakes and genuine emotional engagement. We’ve only played a few sessions so far, but each one has left me eager for the next. I can’t wait to see where this adventure leads.

Lee is a great DM. He has a real gift for making the game not just fun, but deeply engaging and meaningfully challenging in all the right ways. One of the things I appreciate most is how thoughtfully he weaves each player’s backstory into the unfolding narrative. It’s clear he puts time and care into making sure everyone feels included and invested in the world he’s building. As someone who doesn’t naturally gravitate toward role-playing, I’ve found his approach incredibly helpful. He creates space and context that make it feel easy—and even exciting—to step into character. I’ve honestly surprised myself with how much I’ve enjoyed it! His use of a Session 0 to build character bonds was such a smart and refreshing touch. I had never experienced that before, and it really helped our party click right from the start. That early connection made a big difference in how quickly we began to feel like a real team. I’m genuinely excited to see where our campaign goes. If the start is any indication, we’re in for something special!
