About the adventure
"You are a shadowrunner, thriving in the margins, doing the jobs no one else can. You have no office, no permanent home, no background to check. You are whatever you make yourself. Will you seek justice? Sow seeds of chaos? Sell out to the highest bidder? It’s up to you, but this much is certain—if you do nothing, the streets will eat you alive. You can survive—even flourish—as long as you do what it takes. Sacrifice part of your soul for bleeding-edge gear. Push the limits of your will learning new and dangerous magic. Wire yourself into the Matrix, making your mind one with screaming streams of data. It’ll cost you something—everything does—but you can make it worth the price." - Shadowrun, Fifth Edition Core Rulebook The year is 2070 and you'll be running with a crew in the metroplex of Seattle.

About me
I love playing games! I've been playing rpgs since I was six, and have been GMing and LARPing since high school. I did a lot of theater and improv in school and college years. When I run a game, I do my best to make sure everyone has a fun and challenging experience that tells a great story.

Will was the first person that ever explained TTRPGs to me in a way that made sense, and sounded fun. He loves gaming, and that enthusiasm is clear in his story telling. He is very knowledgeable about rules & game mechanics, but our gaming sessions were always more about telling a good story than anything else.
Will is an incredible story teller! The amount of work that goes into his games and his dedication really shows . Whether it’s D&D, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu, or any other tabletop game he runs, he makes everyone always feel included. He is very much a “yes, and” and a “no, but” GM, and is down for listening to ideas, even the silly ones. 10/10, would recommend!!
Playing with Will is easily among the best experiences you could ask for. Not only is he well versed in the story that is being told, he effortlessly incorporates player input and actions into the fabric of the story. On too many occasions, my party has taken a completely unexpected turn of actions and you would think it was scripted by how easily Will responds and rolls with whatever insanity we've concocted. He is patient and reasonable, presenting challenging but fair encounters, both social and combat. I always look forward to any game with Will.
Character creation
Creating your character
Session 0 will be used to make characters. I'll have PDFs available and characters can be created through the free character creation app Chummer 5 and uploaded to Roll20. You can make a character beforehand or use one of the pre-made characters I have, reach out to me if you want to go this route.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic, a Roll20 and a Discord account are all needed. I encourage having a webcam, because I find RP is better with them, but it is by no means a requirement.
What Will D. brings to the table
I use a lot of maps and art to bring the Sixth World to life. You can expect a fully realized game world that the players are free to move through in any way they wish. I have PDFs that will be shared in the Roll20 game so everyone will have access to them. I enjoy doing character voices. I do my best to know the rules fully so that my players can focus on just having a good time.

How Will D. creates a safe table
The Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist available for everyone, I'll have it digitally in Roll20 and can also provide a link to it if needed. They can be completed in private or with me, sometime before Session 1. I'll be talking about my own hard and soft limits during Session 0. X,N, and 0 cards can be digital, or DMed to me if a private option is preferred. Break will happen about two hours in. More breaks if needed.
