Missing in the Rocky Mountains (2 sessions)
Call of Cthulhu | Campaign
About the adventure
A group of hikers has gone missing in the Park. Despite the best efforts of the National Park Service (NPS) and the Estes Park Sheriff's Department, they remain missing days later. With the search at a standstill, the investigators are assembled to assist the operation. During the scenario, the investigators will discover something about the hikers' disappearance doesn't quite add up. To save the missing hikers, the investigators must discover the truth about their disappearance and enter the bone-chilling wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park. -- Missing in the Rocky Mountains was written by me and published on the Miskatonic Repository.
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

Knows the Rules
A rule of cool leaning GM who likes player creativity and doesn’t mind revising things on the fly to benefit the story that is unfolding. Knows the scenario inside out so they aren’t pausing to read things in the background in real time, but are present and active. Takes good notes so they can summarize well, and does little extra things to help players keep things straight like writing out the names of NPCs in the chat window. I will happily play in another of their games in the future.
Wonderful experience. Was patient with me learning the game, and roll20. Had a strong understanding of the rules, and kept the game moving, and entertaining. I would have easily paid double for what he charged for his game. I currently follow him on this site, and can't wait for the next game.

What I provide
The game will utilize the virtual tabletop Roll20, it requires players to make a free account prior to the game. It will be used for characters sheets, rolls, visuals, ambient music, and handouts. All rules will be taught before and during play. No experience necessary and you do not need to read any rules before showing up.
