About Reuben
Salutations gamers! What can I say. I love TTRPG's. Although I started out as a Warhammer 40k player I found that games like D&D, and Call of Cthulhu were much more affordable. My dream is to become a full time GM (Game Master). My philosophy as a GM is to make sure that the players are thoroughly entertained. If that means doing goofy voices, sound effects custom maps. Whatever! As long as you leave the game satisfied.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Creating them in Foundry VTT.
How Reuben runs games
I like to be flexible based on what my players like. If they like lots of difficult combat, or roleplay opportunities. I like to deliver. I do like doing voices, sound effects, and background music. I like to hit as many senses as virtual gaming will allow.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Robert Eggers for sure!!!
Rules are...
Important, and should be followed, but having said that I don't believe they are the end all be all. Especially if it keeps the players from enjoying their game.
When it comes to voices
I'm not saying I'm a voice actor or anything; although, if I had the time, and money I would definately pursue it. Before every game I run I think about what voices I could do to enhance the experience for the player. For other worldly voices I'll use a voice mod.
Reuben's ideal table
On time, and ready to play. I prefer a chill friendly vibe. I can't stand a quiete table. I want you guys roleplaying, joking, laughing having a great time.

I am for a vibe that's...
Friendly, and chill.
I love it when a player
Roleplays.
I think it's a red flag when players...
Are very quiet. If your the shy type that's ok, but if you don't open up within 3 to 5 sessions then I'm proabably not the DM for you.
