About the adventure
The cruel Frostmaiden Auriel, until now only a minor godess, has engulfed the whole of Icewind Dale in a spell of eternal winter. Every night more and more people freeze to death or fall victim to hunger and worse. There is no way in or out. The heroes are at the whims of the cold and heartless god and surely all of the Tentowns will perish...unless you find a way out and break the curse! The campaign is very much on the explorative and sandboxing side. The party will have loads of opportunity to explore the icy regions of Icewind Dale and - of course - get a lot of side quests and experience dozens of adventures! Do you have what it takes to survive the curse of the Frostmaiden?

Creating your character
Of course you are allowed to create your character before we have session 0, but as a group we will have a meeting and either present your ideas to everyone or create it together with me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a mic and discord-account. Webcam is not necessary. We will play on roll20 and you can use the character sheet there or use dndbeyond with a plugin.

How Reto creates a safe table
You will receive a pdf in which you can note any topics or triggers you'd like to avoid. In session 0 we will form the party and define how you as a group want to play and what your main focus will be as well as how we want to handle any tools like XNO. After every game you will have the opportunity to give feedback to further improve your gaming experience.
