About the adventure
“Damn it, it wasn’t quite fresh enough!” ― H.P. Lovecraft, Herbert West—Reanimator March 6th, 1932. As a student of Miskatonic University, you are enjoying a week off for Spring recess. As you head back to your dorm room on a chilly Monday evening, a terrible screaming splits the night... A spiritual successor to Herbert West: Reanimator, both Lovecraft's short story and the 1985 film, this is an action-oriented gore-fest of body-horror and madness. Great for fans of Stuart Gordon's Lovecraft films and for anyone interested in giving Call of Cthulhu a try. This one-shot is also a side-story of our Armitage Files campaign.

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
