About the adventure
With the arrival of the Hogwarts Legacy game I feel a return to Stixhaven is due Study at the famous Strixhaven University, meet interesting new people, make lifelong friends and try to pass those exams. Will you soar like a firework be the life and soul of the party or be the quiet bookworm? Your fate and perhaps the fate of the University and perhaps more is in your hands. I will be adding to and filling it out with home brew content! covering all four years at Strixhaven this will take characters from level 1 to 10 Join one of the five magical colleges which will you pick? None magical classes welcome. played in the theater of the mind, with battle boards and minis if needed I focus heavily on the role play side of things. All homebrew will be considered I want you to play the character you want to be.

About me

Instead I live stream a video of a physical tabletop with tokens instead. Whilst I do use some theatre of the mind there is a table top for the more tacticle groups. Since the various lockdowns playing face to face became difficult so I came here. I favour RP-heavy games with dynamic combat. In other words, unless the AC is really obscure and the goblin has a 20 dex I tend to tell my players the AC, after all when you see a 14 miss and a 15 hit the cat is out of the bag. By knowing the AC you know if you hit or miss and can describe what happens rather than I roll 15 you hit roll damage 6 points ok next person, you roll you know you hit you say I slash the goblin across the face for 6 points. Happy to DM groups from their first game to very advanced. I will be running a mix of new modules and some old classics with a little homebrew thrown in for good measure LBGTQ+ Friendly

Creating your character
Characters start at level one made with point buy. They can be made before game or I can supply a pre generated character, or one can be made during session zero with my help. I will supply a link to dnd beyond
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need a Mic, a web cam is beneficial. Players will need either a paper character sheet or a digital one. players will need either physical dice or a digital method of rolling dice. Some knowledge of the rules is beneficial but the game is open to complete novices.
What Darren brings to the table
I bring over four decades of DM'ing experience, sme NPCs will have their own voices. I post maps and pictures for the players in discord and use battle boards and minis if the situation requires it. An evening of fun for all is assured.
