About the adventure
🌟 Join a Journey Across the Seasons in a World of Wonder 🌿 (Custom banner art by @TomorukaMR on IG/Twitter) The Starfall Celebration ✨ only comes once in a generation, a celestial event so grand that travelers from all walks of life set out on a yearlong pilgrimage to witness it. As the seasons turn, you will journey through lush orchards 🍎, mist-laden forests 🌫️, sunken ruins 🏺, and distant mountain peaks 🏔️, meeting strange and wonderful folk along the way. Some will share their wisdom, others will test your courage, and a few may change the course of your journey entirely. This is a world shaped by kindness, discovery, and quiet magic, where the whispers of gods and the echoes of forgotten histories drift through the land like falling stars. It is a whimsical journey 🎭, but not without some dangers you may have to navigate—an eerie voice calling from the mist 👁️, an old oath demanding to be kept 📜, or a choice that may change you forever. This is a Wanderhome campaign about self-discovery 💭, transformation 🔄, and the quiet moments that shape us. Though an overarching mystery ties the world together, the heart of the journey lies in what *you* find along the way—new perspectives 🌍, unexpected friendships 🤝, and the realization of what truly matters to you. This is a very RP focused system. There is no combat—only the choices you make, the bonds you forge, and the stories you create together 📖. The road to Solstice Keep 🏛️ is long, but perhaps, by the time the stars fall 🌠, you’ll have found exactly what you were looking for.
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
This system and campaign is very heavily RP focused. It has a strong emphasis on character interaction and self-discovery. Mechanics are very light, and most of the time we'll be using Theater of the Mind, with some light visual aids. No combat or player fail-states.

How to prepare
Join my discord, and feel free to say hello! You'll need a microphone, a noise-free environment, a great attitude, and a love for roleplay. Webcam is optional, but please ensure you will be clear and audible over voice chat. When you join the game, feel free to create your character and send me the completed sheet before game time, but we can also do it during session 0, if you prefer. You may send me character art if you'd like, and I'll add it to the game as long as you send it soon enough.
What I provide
I will bring a digital tabletop, tokens, music, atmosphere, my own custom story, and plenty of improv experience to the table to ensure you have a whimsical adventure. This is a low-mechanic, low-crunch, high roleplay game system, so most of the adventure will take place using Theater of the Mind, with a few visual aids for setting, and a heavy focus on character interaction. There is no combat, and no fail-state for the players. This is a journey of self-discovery and uplifting growth.
Gameplay details
We'll be having a Session 0 to discuss anything that may come up during the campaign, to be sure that everyone knows what to expect and can play comfortably. Feel free to call out or type out Xs, Ns, or Os at anytime that potentially objectionable content comes up during play. That topic will quickly be removed or a short discussion will be had with the table to ensure everyone is okay. This is an open table where players are always allowed, and strongly encouraged to take a step away if they feel the need or desire to separate themselves from the game. Players are always welcome to take time off from, and/or return to the game when they feel comfortable. Players are welcome and encouraged to bring their personal requests for content removal or avoidance to me privately or publicly as they find comfortable. Any changes can be made at any time if you find the content filters set in place early on aren't suitable for you.

How will character creation work
After joining the game, you'll receive a link to a google drive with all the playbooks and character sheet. You'll make your character choices on the playbook and fill them in on your copy of the character sheet, and send it to me before the game. If you read a section in your playbook that says "Ask 1 left and 1 right," we'll be doing this section at the start of the game session, so don't worry about that part.
