About me
I have been running games for kids for the past six years. I have run over 300 hundred games to over 500 students over that time period. I have specifically run several games for kids who are neurodiverse. I am even on a platform specifically for neurodiverse kids and their educational needs running D&D games I have designed. I specialize in creative; role play heavy games that are inclusive to all. I have also given interviews and written blog pieces on the benefits of running games for kids and adults alike. Especially for those who are neuro diverse. Here is an interview I did that gives insight into my DM style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoqSM3P9NZA&t=764s On SPG I run several horror themed games for adults. Many set in the Grim Hollow setting. I will happily run games for younger players upon request. I also run a server with my husband, also a DM on SPG (https://startplaying.games/gm/cuddlemonkey). https://discord.gg/meganandthemonkey I firmly believe in player agency and just having fun. My games are filled with laughter, intense battles and stories that connect the players. Beyond this I am a mom to four and a proud nerd. I provide games for adults, kids, and families as a whole. I look forward to creating a World for you to play in.
GM Style
I love roleplay and using player backstories to help build the World I am creating. I focus on player driven stories and adjust to the table. Instead of saying no, I try to say, "how can we make this work." I also provide excellent fleshed out NPCs that truly shape the world. I do enjoy challenging combat and like to have my BBEGs use strategy.

I can honestly say Megan is one of the best DMs I've had the honor of playing with. The games are tons of fun and she has been a great inspiration for my own games. The RP that she offers is some of the best and she leaves tons of room for unique characters and ideas. I would encourage anyone who hasn't to play at least one game with her.
Megan is an incredible DM and has attracted an amazing community ! I would recommend joining any of her games to players with all levels of experience, I joined the community only having played for a couple months before and I’ve had an incredible time learning and playing since. I have now been at her tables for dozens of sessions and do not plan on looking back. :)
Just had my first session with Megan. What an absolute blast. Really had everything dialed in to be able to get into the game smoothly. Was greeted by a table of wonderful players with whom she was familiar, returning players are a great sign! Can't wait for the next session.
Megan was the first DM I decided to go with when I wanted to get back into DND. Whike my previous DM is a brother I loved, we bumped heads when it came to the game. I had trouble with that group that made me stop playing for a long time. I was also criticized for wanting to play in a paid game. I was nervous, but eager. I jumped into her campaign last second. I didn't know what to expect and every little social interaction terrified me. To be honest, it still does. What makes me stay is Megan. She helps me play out my ideas and uses them in her campaign in ways I thought was too much to ask for. She's friendly, understanding, and is quick to put out fires and cast away fears before they become a problem. I grew to admire her and her husband, Ellis's, DM styles. I feel wanted and apart of something in her campaigns. My characters grow alongside of the others and are encouraged to be the people i had envisioned. Thank you Megan (and Ellis) for making my weekends special again.
