About the adventure
For years, you led the armies of a powerful Devil; a dark force bent on conquering and spreading chaos. Under your command, countless cities fell and the world trembled in fear. But all of that came to an end when the Big Good Guy (BGG/Hero), with his band of legendary champions, struck down your master in an epic battle that shook the heavens themselves. In the wake of your Lord’s banishment, you were captured—defeated and brought low. Rather than a swift execution, the Hero offers you an ultimatum: renounce your pursuit of power and live out your days in repentance, or fall by his hand, like your fallen master before you. With little other choice, you and your comrades accept the offer. Now stripped of your dark powers and reduced to mere mortals, you are cast into obscurity, watched closely by the very forces that once opposed you. With your armies scattered and your legacy crumbled, you now face a new life—one of humility and mediocrity…or do you? Notes: LGBTQ+ Friendly, Beginner Friendly

Meet the Game Master
About me
I have been a lover of the fantasy genre since cracking open the pages of Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings at 10yrs old. My love of reading eventually led into a love of fantasy games, MMOs and RPGs. I first wished I could change a narrative when I encountered the White Pawn quest in World of Warcraft and to this day wish I could have left Anduin Wrynn to a sad but necessary end. I dabbled in writing fiction, short stories, playing in roleplay games like GTA RP, but something always seemed to be missing. Couldn't quite put my finger on it.... I'd heard of D&D many times over the years, bought a dice set, read into it, watched Critical Role, but no one ever seemed to want to have that "new player" at the table. Very disheartening as I'm sure you can imagine. Then came the trouble of gathering friends and finding a dungeon master to leads us through the feywilds and beyond. A nigh impossible task it seemed for many years, until one fateful day in April 2024 when a friend graciously allowed me to partake in a game he had been crafting. Yes! My first taste of D&D was at my fingertips! I went through one session, and then another; it was fun and exciting and all that I wanted...except...except I have terrible FOMO, am a huge chaos gremlin and wanted to be the one crafting cool scenarios and plans to watch other people interact with! I wanted to play as many characters as I had "alts" in WoW! I wanted the chance to play any character; bad, good, quirky and bonkers! So I began plotting, and learning, and watching/reading as much as I could and together with several friends I started two campaigns for a homebrew world I eventually came to call Aetherfell. These campaigns (Blessed by Frigg & Sol Invictus) happen together in the world, two parties traversing the world at the same time, sometimes overlapping each other, visiting towns and running into one another, and at one point one party stole the hard earned reward money of the other! They still don't know the other group did it...hilarious hijinks indeed! I have been running both those campaigns since late April 2024, some bumps and rocks in the road when we first began, but as patience is a necessity in most endeavours, I was able to pull through with the collaborative efforts of all involved. I want to bring those collaborative efforts across with others and share my world with them and tell as many stories as we can together in every fun filled adventure!

Creating your character
Characters will be made on DnDBeyond, they will begin at Level 8, players can begin making their characters ahead of session 0 but changes based on the world at large may be made up until Session 1 when any choices will be locked in. Ability Scores can be Standard Array or Rolled/Manual, if you choose Rolled/Manual the stats will be rolled during Session 0 digitally, no exceptions, to insure fairness. Should you choose Rolled/Manual and your rolls are no better than actual dog shit, you may swap them for the Standard Array choice, you cannot roll again. There will be no encumbrance or coin weight, however, believability will be maintained. Unless your strength is 30+, no you cannot carry ALL the weapons and armor you looted from that villages militia after you defeated them. You don't have to keep track of your weight down to the ounce, but be reasonable in what you choose to carry/loot. Unless you have a bag of holding, you are not Mary Poppins.
February 2026 Update: We did have a player drop from the campaign due to scheduling, I do have a method of integrating a new character fluidly into the existing make-up of the party that won't feel forced so please don't let the fact that the campaign has begun discourage you from wishing to join. Current Party: (Lvl 10) Architect of Ruin Illrigger, Divination Wizard, College of Whispers Bard/Rogue

How AndyMcFly creates a safe table
What to Expect Before We Begin - Before jumping on board, the dungeon master will have an open and honest dialogue with every potential player to go over any questions, concerns, hard lines, wants/needs, etc Session 0 - We will cover basic story information so that you can create characters that mesh together with the other players. (Feel free to start one prior to Session 0, nothing is set in stone until Session 1 begins.) We will go through some questions and answers, and discuss any issues raised (anonymously) during the pre-session 0 1-on-1's each player had with the Dungeon Master to make sure everyone is on the same page. We will go over any homebrew info for gameplay, rules, etc and any other relevant information. An overview of the world will be provided in Session 0 together with additional materials distributed based on classes chosen, backstories, etc. Each player will be given access to their own individual Google Doc, created by the DM, containing pertinent information for their character and with editing permissions so they can keep any additional information they learn/acquire in one convenient place. The DM will also occasionally add additional information/details to these personalized Docs. I will most likely stream the sessions to my Twitch as I also upload VODs to Youtube (which can be good for players that like precise notes).
