I am currently playing through Andy’s first-ever D&D campaign, and I have to say, the level of detail she puts into it is absolutely UNREAL! It’s evident that she’s not just running a game for us, but genuinely crafting an experience that is immersive, engaging, and filled with love. One of the things that stands out to me the most is how none of us ever feel like we're being overlooked or just another player at the table. Andy takes the time to connect with each of us individually, as well as with the group as a whole, to get to know our characters on a deeper level. She consistently checks in outside of sessions to learn about our characters' hopes, dreams, fears, and desires, which makes our journey feel so much more personal and meaningful. What’s even more impressive is how she weaves that information into the campaign. Based on what we share, Andy has gone above and beyond to create homebrew special items for our characters that reflect their unique stories and growth. These are not just generic magic items—they’re personalized, thoughtful gifts that add layers to our experience and make us feel even more connected to the world she's built for us. The care and effort she puts into these details really speaks to how much she values our individual journeys. I find myself counting down the days until our next session. Even the quieter, "chill" moments—like shopping or downtime—are fun because Andy knows how to make them interesting and full of potential. There’s always room for unexpected chaos, and we never quite know what will happen next, which keeps us on our toes and fully invested. One of the most memorable moments for me was when Andy let me bring back an old character—Sister Agatha St. Clair—from a campaign that had been abandoned by the previous DM. This character was my first true role-playing experience and meant so much to me. I’ll always be grateful that Andy was not only willing to bring her into the current campaign but also gave her a fresh new life, complete with an unexpected fluffy companion (who adds so much to her story!). The fact that Andy was willing to honor my connection to this character means the world to me, and I will always cherish that. In short, Andy is the kind of Dungeon Master who goes above and beyond to make sure her players feel seen, valued, and invested in the story. She creates a world that is as dynamic and unique as each of us at the table, and I couldn't ask for a better experience. I can't wait to see where the journey goes next!
