About the adventure

You are a group of wild animals that live close to the MacDonald Farm. This year they are in charge of hosting the big fair. And in order to show off to all of the other farmers, old Mr. MacDonald has made the grand prize for the "Largest Pumpkin" competition one years supply of good feeding corn. It's now up to you wild animals to secure your winter food by stealing the grand prize however you have to. This will be an extremely chaotic, fun, one shot. The system will be a costume system I have crafted (and play tested many many times, in campaigns and one shots.) It is a roll assisted system with elements taken from Kids on Bikes (like assigning dice to your stats and explosions) and Thirsty Sword Lesbians (Like playbook moves that lend themselves to character driven mechanics.) Hope to see you at the barnyard!

About me

Itching for adventure and immersive storytelling? Then I'm your GM! A kind fae that would definitely never steal your name, soul, or anything else of the sort, and I resent the accusation! I have a background in theatre and years of playing pretend in the woods, so expect lots of over the top roleplay, whimsy, and lots of in depth worlds! I place a lot of important on open communication, rule simplifying, and above all else, having a great time. Of course, new players are more than welcome at all of my games! I love building worlds that feel lived in, with a lot of culture and many individual characters. I also LOVE taking the ideas my players give me, and running with them. So don't be surprised when that one small joke you made during character creation comes back at a large scale in the story! I am flexible, adapt to my player's needs and put great effort in my games. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

Character creation

Creating your character

Once you have signed up, I will put you into my discord server where you can chat with other players. It will have all of the resources you will need for the game. From there we will arrange a one on one meeting to build your character, learn the rules and brainstorm what kind of story you would like to tell! From there we will schedule the game!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Think of what kind of animal you want to be, and what kind of heist stereotype you might want to fit, if any. You should also think of why you want this corn and what you are willing to do to get it. Finally, think of any connection you have to the farm, or any of the creatures on it. Have a discord account so we can get connected quickly and begin creation ASAP :)

What Alex Teatime brings to the table

The system we will be using as well as a the rules and detailed character creation process so you can feel secure in it, even if you are new to ttrpg's. When it comes to gameplay I am a very dynamic rule of cool DM that loves the rule of cool. If you can come up with something crazy enough I am more than likely to allow it and work it into the world. Expect lots of character voices and in-depth RP.

Safety

How Alex Teatime creates a safe table

I highly doubt we'll need any warnings but because characters will be animals we will talk about what animals might be triggering for anyone as well as any content that would make anyone uncomfortable so we are able to have as much chaotic fun as possible! I will have a one on one character creation to confirm with everyone what they are comfortable with and what kind of ideas they would be excited to work into the story. We will also have check-ins and a small break half way through.
