Dungeon Depot [Beginner/LGBTQ+ Safe!]
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Are you sick of D&D's high stakes: - saving the world - killing gods - the world-ending events - other boring examples! Then a campaign like this is chicken noodle soup for the heart: Become the shopkeeper! -> YOU run the store. Together with the other members of the party, you will clean out dungeons, take the loot back to your shop, and sell the weapons you don't want to keep in your magic item shop! Improve the town, work off your debt, and roleplay with the townsfolk. A Roleplay Heavy campaign that you will get to shape! ❤️
Game style
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.

Storytelling
We scheduled a one shot with Bliss as a Christmas present, and then our house burned down in the Eaton fire. We decided to go through with the game and for four magical hours we were able to forget our troubles and tell a great story. Bliss spends real time shaping the setting and story, adding visual and audible atmosphere to immerse you in the world. We didn't think we would ever feel joy again, and Bliss reminded us that a good and happy time still exists in the world.
Bliss is an absolutely fantastic DM! He deeply love the game and wants others to experience the joys of TTRPGs. Not only does Bliss care about your character but he also is invested in you as a player. Truly a great person! P.S. if you're queer and scared about joining an online game, join a Bliss campaign. As someone who is non-binary, Bliss easily calmed all my fears in our first meeting and the campaign has been so incredible!
As this was my first time using start playing as well as a full D&D campaign, Bliss made the experience not only easy but enjoyable. His creativity helps build an immersive experience as he also works with players to help build storylines to their characters. Bliss is a great DM and would highly recommend him!
Additional details
How to prepare
Get a drink, get a snack, get a comfy chair and a stable internet connection and we will be fine! Other requirements like a PC and accounts for the aforementioned websites/services are of course also needed.
What I provide
I hope to bring a happy attitude + handouts for homebrew items and spells! Also: Illustrations of your character can be bought if we play a few sessions together! The commission prices depend on the size and quality of the artwork but this we can discuss later.
Gameplay details
There are some documents and links if you were to join that range from necessary to interesting. A consent form, a document with personal table rules, a discord server link, a roll20 campaign link, etc. I would love to aid you with this if you would want my help ❤️ I promise to be inclusive to everyone that plays without malicious intent, anyone that uses threats and ridicules others will result in a ban at my table (let's have some respect while still poking fun at one another once in a while). Players can expect a good mix between combat and roleplay, depending on their wishes the 50-50% mix can be scaled to be anything else.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen with the aid of a clear and well-written document that will hold 99% of the information you need to start with, after that point, I'm more than willing to aid you in the challenge. Use roll20 or Dndbeyond to keep track of your character, and in the case of the latter use the Beyond20 extension to link back to roll20 where we host our sessions. My usual table rules for character creation: • All races, classes, and backgrounds are allowed. Homebrew content can be allowed if discussed beforehand. • Multiclassing and Feats are certainly allowed • Stats are as follows: roll 4d6, re-roll any 1's, then remove the lowest, (aka keep the 3 highest). Alternatively, you can choose to use the standard array or point buy method, even after having seen your set of rolls. • Choose how involved you want me to be in the character creation process, if you want existing NPC's to be part of your backstory then don't be afraid to ask! • Custom Rules at my table: https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/4LbyWsE8XaUc • Message me for help!
