Tomb of Annihilation (Campaign D&D5e 2014 & 2024 spells)
Deep in the jungle lies the Temple of Annihilation—ancient, cursed, and hungry. Those who enter seek glory, but few return, and none escape unchanged.
About the adventure
Each players first session is free. The campaign is active so you will be joining already on going group. A death curse has befallen the world of Toril, those who have been returned to life via magic have begun to waste away. No one individual knows much about this mysterious disease. It seems to have spread over night and affects all from every corner of the world. Though the effects of it seem to take different amounts of time, everyone who has ever been revived is on a timer. Through the collection of rumors from many sources across Faerûn many noble houses and induvial's of wealth and power are putting together expeditions to find a solution. Lady Syndra Silvane, is one such person. She calls to those seeking adventure, fame, and glory. If you are brave enough to step up to the task, she calls you to Baldurs Gate.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I am a Player and DM of 6 years and constantly looking for opportunities to improve and explore. I enjoy playing D&D and willing to try other TTRPG's. I am mostly experienced in 5E D&D and 3.5E D&D. I love the game as a whole and seek to bring an encapsulating experience to all who play my games. From heavy roleplay to intensive combat and dungeon crawls. I have tons of ideas, open to feedback, and seek to create a healthy and rememberable environment for my players.

Absolutely fantastic GM, he basically introduced me into the game, after only few sessions with him, I no longer feel like a newbie. Terrific amounts of fun, roleplay, fighting, a bit less puzzles (but who likes them either way). Great voices depending on character (especially low INT ones). Can be goofy, can be serious, let's player feel the atmosphere. Allows for almost any interaction imaginable and sometimes even more. Great feedback, great at listening to players. Runs games as his own, but let's players be part of them, let's players build the world around them. Truly only to be recommended and definitely worth to give a try!
Recently had the pleasure of participating in a few sessions led by Heferrion a truly welcoming DM, who knew their craft. Their ability to adjust on the fly when issues arise ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players, regardless of experience level. Encouraging roleplay amongst the party, the DM displayed flexibility with rules, particularly in crafting scenarios, fostering creativity and engagement. Overall, a enjoyable campaign so far where me and friends had a great time. He even finds ways to engage other players to have their time to shine, if they were not interacting as much.
I loved this DM to allow me to create a subrace homebrew between changing and half-elf. Which has fun flare on silly things my character can do. DM able to allow creative shenanigans to happen in regards to making a granola bar that can heal others and encourage team effort to craft potions and poisons. He encourages group interaction and make sure everyone is included, when he notice some players sitting on the sideline and draws them into the fun of his game. I have been a player for a few years and half of it as a GM. He’s got the right stuff for those who are first time players or rusty on not playing for awhile. While still making fun for those who’ve played for awhile and let their fun crazy side out; which is rare to happen compared to other DMs run their game to the rules. Plus I’m not one for long sessions; but this was soo fun and as if I was in a great book or tv episode and hooked. Definitely recommend to be a player in his games!
Heferrion has been an awesome GM I have played in a few of his campaigns and all have been great, he is great at crafting worlds and stories to go in them and helped me a lot when I was still very green at playing teaching me and even showing me options I didn't think of when it came to building a character, There have been a lot of awesome memories I have made in the campaigns he has run.
Character creation
Creating your character
You can make your character level 7 as your joining a active party. Using dnd5e 2014 classes and races. I do allow 2024 spells and partnered and expanded content. You can roll for stats three times and pick or go with point buy or standard array. You will have starting equipment, one common, one uncommon, one rare magic item each. Potions you get two of, and a additional 50 gp starting for supplies.

What Heferrion brings to the table
I will be using voices, custom maps, and ambiance music. I do enjoy the rule of cool and being surprised by my players, though combat can be intensive. I will be sticking to the base dnd5e 2014. Most often than not my campaigns can end up more role-play biased with sporadic combat. Though this can be changed to accommodate my players.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules I allow for this campaign: take a potion as a bonus action, bonus action punch, targeted attacks, and if you roll twice a creatures AC it counts as a crit.

How Heferrion creates a safe table
There will be a discussion at the beginning of session 0 over player safety and triggers, expectation management, info about the campaign, and getting everyone's in put on what you like and maybe don't like that could occur.
