About the adventure
Fortune, power, and prestige are all for the taking on the Smuggler's Moon. But before you can thrive, you'll need to survive while contending with criminal organizations, corrupt imperials, and ruthless opportunists. But take the right chances, make the right friends, and be quicker with a blaster than the other sleemo, and you might be able to come out on top in this dangerous region of scum and villainy. Join a Star Wars Play-by-Post campaign! Set between Episodes IV & V, you'll join a crew of operatives working for a criminal organization on Nar Shaddaa. As their main fixers, your party will perform daring heists, sabotage rival factions, and eliminate any threat to your organization or the Hutt clan you're under. • Being Edge of the Empire, the focus will be on the scum and villainy of the galaxy, including criminal organizations and surviving on the Outer Rim. • While the Rebellion against the Empire and the mysticism of the Force will not be central to the campaign, they can be included in individual character arcs. • Your group will be employed/indebted to a criminal organization who are subservient to a powerful Hutt clan and you'll be engaging in skullduggerous activities. This will be an asynchronous play-by-post game using a dedicated Discord server, RPG Sessions for character sheets and dice bot, and potentially Owl Bear Rodeo for maps. As a play-by-post game, gameplay will take place through text on discord, with players responding when they can throughout the day. As the GM, I will advance the story at least once per day, responding to out-of-character questions and direct encounters throughout the day.
Our fixer crew has already begun their adventures on Nar Shaddaa. We have a Toydarian Trader/Face and a Trandoshan Marauder/Tank, and a Droid Medic/Mechanic with some Shooting potential. Update from Session 0: Set between Episodes IV & V, your crew will be working for a criminal organization under a powerful Hutt clan. You have a business in the form of a high-end Pawn shop that acts as a front and base for your operations. You are primarily fixers for the organization, taking our problem individuals, acquiring important items, and various other tasks for the space mafia.

How to prepare
What you will need: A Discord account and an RPG Sessions account, both free and able to sign with Google. Both these platforms can be used on a mobile device. Familiarity with FFG's/Edge's Star Wars RPG is not required. I will assist anyone unfamiliar with the rules to learn them and will guide all players through Character Creation.

What I'll Provide: 🧠 Years of experience running Star Wars RPG and PbP games. 🎨 Creative adventures focusing on the strength of the PCs. 📚 Rules references that the players may need. 💬 Managing the Discord server for our adventure. 🎲 Rule of Cool: I'm a fan of the PCs and will prioritize fun and dramatic moments over strict adherence to rules. My GM style leans toward levity and excitement rather than grim and gritty. While the setting and tone will focus on the criminal underworld and survival in the outer rim, my personal taste adds a measure of humor and lightheartedness. This isn't to say there won't be serious moments, but the overall tone of the campaign will not be one of serious drama. More details can be discussed during Session 0.
Gameplay details
Pace of Play: For both myself as the GM and for you as players, I plan on at least one meaningful post a day, such as a description of what your character is doing, responses to in-character conversations, and/or taking your turn in a combat, social, or skill encounter. When possible—which should be most days out of the week—I can advance the game with more than a single post a day. There should be no pressure on you to respond constantly, as the beauty of a PvP game is the ability to do so when you can. However, we will attempt to respect the time of all players, and I will try to keep things moving at a reasonable pace, not leaving any player behind while allowing the game to stall out. Further details on how I run PbP games will be provided on the Discord server. All types of players are welcome, and Session 0 will be free, so you'll have the opportunity to see if this game fits you!

How will character creation work
Character Creation Collaboration During Session 0: 🌟 Your characters will have 75 additional starting XP and 2,500 extra starting credits. 🤝 Your characters will already know each other and will have some connection to each other. ✨ Each of your characters will start with a unique and custom item special to them and relating to their backstory.
