About me

Hey! I'm Caleb, and I love playing games, telling stories, and creating worlds. I've been playing and GMing RPGs for over a decade, specializing in narrative-based systems such as FFG's/Edge's Star Wars and Genesys RPGs, as well as the upcoming Cosmere RPG, and I love PbP games! I GM games professionally for Edge Studios at GenCon, and during the past couple of years, I've run Star Wars, Genesys, Legend of the Five Rings, and the Arkham Horror RPG. I've also graduated from the Adventure Writing Academy, a creative writing course focusing on RPG writing, and am a freelance writer, having published supplements for the Genesys Foundry on DriveThruRPG.

GM Style

I focus on roleplaying, making the narrative come to life, and combining the mechanics of a system with the player's wants and needs. I'm a fan of the players, and I want them to succeed, working with them in a way that tells an awesome story. I may be the film's director, but the players are the stars, and I ensure each player gets the opportunity to have their awesome moments in the spotlight. While I appreciate and facilitate solemn and serious moments in a game, I tent to lean towards the the funny and lighthearted. I will never trample on a character's deep moments, but grim and dark storytelling is not my style.
