Based on my soon-to-be-published supplement, this campaign weaves together canon Greyhawk lore and creative liberties to offer a truly immersive, lost-boy-style experience in a post-apocalyptic Prismeer. You start at the Witchlight Carnival, but it's not the same as you remember. There's no Mr. Witch and Mr. Light, no fun and joy. You're thrust into the chaotic aftermath of problems orchestrated by The Hourglass Coven, with an unlikely, wounded hero as your companion. 🎲 THE BOOK: Hourglass Coven is an upcoming D&D adventure book for DMs Guild. The full book is due for release in PDF & hardcover in late 2024. All players in this game will be considered pre-publication play-testers and given credit as such in the upcoming book. 🎲 THE SESSIONS: Please be ready to commit to the full 9 weeks of the game to create consistency for the players. To enhance the experience and offer a more personalized story, I only allow a maximum of 4 players in any virtual game. Session dates are subject to change. Creating your character
Your character should be created ahead of game time. I highly recommend using DnD Beyond so you can join a campaign space to share a roll-room if you so choose! You'll also get access to my digital library for your booking(s).
What to expect
Preparing for the session
✴️ Cameras are required for female safety at the table. They also enhance the game energy and help me to understand you better (I'm hard of hearing and rely on body language to help me.) ✴️ Please have a working microphone and reduce background noise. ✴️ We use Discord for group communication before, during, and after game sessions. ✴️ We use Zoom for the call because it has a great subtitle system! It was also be recorded for safety. 💻 Make sure to bring your digital or physical character sheet to the session ready to go. I am happy to help you character-build before the session and utilize it during our sessions. 🎲 You can roll digital or physical dice! We will have a D&D Beyond campaign that makes it easy to roll digitally together, but it's not required. ❗Important Notes❗ -You are paying for your spot in this series and I cannot replace that seat with a temporary player due to the nature of this game. Dates must be given in at least a week advance for payment pause on a session. This way I can either try to reschedule the session or replace it with a one-shot that I open to the community. This is my career; I must plan my income and table seats accordingly, with plenty of time to spare! Thanks for understanding. ❤️ -Consent forms are required before the start of the game. Respecting the group's consents and safety tools are required. Players can expect a rules-lite gaming experience as I'm very keen on the concept of yes, and. While we're following a campaign storyline, I try to make sure that my players do not feel railroaded and have plenty of time to explore and roleplay with one another.
