📜 If you are reading this, then you already know that you're special. You have survived things that others did not. Something that seems obvious to you, have befuddled those around you for generations. Magic, swordplay, tactics, diplomacy, song, or even your connection to something older than these mortal pursuits has as easily to you as the fish to the sea. This is not an accident. You are a Hero. Be it by birth or fate, you've known this and if the people around you don't already, then they will soon. My hope, is that you're one of the ones we need now. The Dragonlords are no more. The Oath of Peace that has kept the Titans and the Gods from tearing each other apart for the past 500 years is ending. War is coming to Thylea. This is a war that the Gods are ill-equipped to win. It will bring doom or enslavement to the Twin Titans for the rest. The people are terrified -- and they have every right to be. Unless, of course I am correct. A small group of strangers met at that famous Inn and began a quest that has seen them rise as heroes and become the target of the Twin Titan Gods: Sydon, Lord of Storms and his sister-wife Lutheria, Goddess of Death. They now sail the treacherous Cerulean Sea in the company of Gods, Giants, and more -- gathering allies, knowledge, and weapons to aide them in the coming battle that will decide the fate of all... 🐲 Odyssey of the Dragonlords is a campaign inspired by the myths and legends of the Ancient Greeks. Creating your character
- Characters will be created during session 0. - Characters will be created at 1st level, using the 2014 version of Dungeons & Dragons. - Attributes are determined with standard point-buy rules, but may add a free +2 bonus OR a feat at character creation. - Included in this campaign is a custom portrait of your character, as well as a thematically appropriate circular token frame.
🗓️ This campaign will take roughly a year to a year and a half to complete. Characters are currently at Level 7 and are sailing the Cerulean Sea seeking allies and aide against the wrath of the Titans. 🫂 Influences for this adventure include: Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Troy, The Odyssey, Star Wars, the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Gladiator, Our Flag Means Death, Disney’s Hercules, Xena: Warrior Princess, Conan the Barbarian. 🛠️ Characters are created via standard 2014 Dungeons & Dragons rules using point-buy for attributes. Players receive an additional Feat for free at 1st level. 📯 JOIN THE ADVENTURE! The heroes have been summoned, but more are needed! Join the Heroes of the Oracle and race to save the mortals of Thylea from doom. Current Arc: The Heroes are sailing the islands of the Cerulean Sea, gathering allies, weapons, and knowledge for the upcoming conflict between the Gods and Titans! 🌿 HEROES OF THE PROPHECY 🔆Ariadne, Half-Elf Oath of the Dragonlords Paladin (Haunted One Epic Path) A woman with a grand family history that no one remembers on a quest to reclaim her past and put the souls of her family to rest. 🦎 Avarina, Elf Drake Warden Ranger (Vanished One Epic Path) One of the fabled Dragonlords of old, long though dead but returned to the world after 500 years. She seeks to restore her order and discover the fate of her dragon. ⚡ Kyros, Dragonborn Demi-God Sorcerer (Demigod Epic Path) The wayward bronze-scaled child of Pythor, the God of Battle. On a quest to earn his father's favor, claim his divine heritage, and avenge his mother's death at the hands of a Green Dragon. 🐂 Mygo, Horn of the End. Minotaur Path of Ancestral Guardian Barbarian (Doomed One) A famed mercenary from a cursed line who's quest for meaning in death has led him to discovering a complicated family legacy steeped in the history of Thylea.

Preparing for the session
Players will need to have the following: - A stable internet connection. - A dedicated microphone and space with minimal background noise. - A free Discord account (https://discord.com) - A free Forge VTT account (https://forge-vtt.com) - Some understanding of 5e D&D (basic rules found here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules) - A copy of the free Players Guide to Odyssey of the Dragonlords. - Bi-weekly Availability. Optional: - Webcam (mine will be on in any case!) - A computer capable of handling a graphically intensive campaign.

I expect everyone to behave like adults who have come over to friend's house for dinner. ******** Longer Version - Lines & Veils are welcomed to be discussed before the game begins. Players will also be provided a google form version of the Monte Cooke Consent in Gaming checklist. - My personal Lines & Veils are: Lines - No sexual assault of any kind will be depicted by the players or the GM. Veils - Explicit sexual or romantic content will be handwaved or treated in a "fade-to-black" manner. - A 10/15-min breaks is taken every 1.5-2.0 hours regardless of total playtime. - Any homebrew rules will be discussed ahead of time. - Access to D&D Beyond, Campaign Discord, and Consent Checklist will be sent after players have reserved their seat!
