About the adventure
Deep within the treacherous jungles of Chult, an ancient curse stirs, spreading death and decay beyond its borders. Heroes from all corners of the realm are called to venture into the jungle to put an end to the blight that is stalking those that have seen death and walked away. Are you wiling to brave dense jungles, discover lost civilizations, and delve into forgotten tombs where deadly traps and unspeakable horrors away? Step forward lightly, as only the bravest - and possibly most foolhardy - might possibly succeed where others have failed. Gather your gear, steel your courage, and say a prayer. About me
Please come in, have a seat, may I offer you a beverage? Welcome to my table, where the story never goes where anyone intends it to. I am a storyteller first and foremost, and players are the reason for the story. My games are a balance of combat and roleplaying, with a focus on integrating player back stories into the game. The three pillars of a game are encounters, role play, and exploration, and I try to bring a balance of all three to the table. More often than not, improv will take over my creative brain and those are the moments my players tell me are the best ones during the game. I started running games five years ago after I played at a table that left a bad taste in my mouth. And I am not talking about the coffee, it was a rough game. My spouse turned to me and said how surprised they were that I had never run a game, despite playing for over twenty years. A few weeks later, I started running games online for friends and family. I write campaigns, run my favourites, and generally have three or four games running at a time. I didn't know how much I would love sitting behind the screen and watching the players interact with the world I had laid out, but I regret not running games sooner. It's the best seat in the house.

Creating your character
Character creation will be done in session 0, anticipate making two or three characters in the first session, you will want a bac up prepared. All characters will be starting at level three and will likely be level twelve for the end of the campaign.
First session is January 15th, the party is well rounded and starting at level 2. New players can easily join the existing group.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a discord profile and log ins for the vtt selected in session 0. You will need a microphone and headset, webcam is optional.
What Lee brings to the table
This is not going to be a game for beginners, this is a meat grinder and you will need a back up character. Or two. I will provide the VTT, access to DnD Beyond for Character sheets, a discord server, and zoom if requested. You will be immersed in the story, with your backstory being tied into the game as much as possible, even after your character dies. We will be running with the new 2024 rules, but as always, the rule of cool will always prevail if it moves the story into the realms of an epic tale.

How Lee creates a safe table
