It features scores of new monsters, encounter maps, subclasses, feats, spells, and magic items. About me
[You open the gilt-edged scroll cautiously, all too aware of the fragility of the ancient paper in your hands. Upon the inner surface, the message gleams dully, obviously imbued with power - though, it does appear too rusty to have been a tannin-based ink... It reads: "The shadows welcome you. Arm yourself and face the night."] ... Okay, I'm dramatic. THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE HERE FOR THOUGH! Hi! I'm Neysa! I'm a member of the streaming group Team Bonus Action (find us on Twitter, Twitch, Instagram, and Youtube!) and I write prolifically, including a campaign I'm currently building out for publication. [That campaign has now been played by two in-person groups, both of whom completed the adventure after 1+ years!] I have access to all of the official books on PDF. I'm a hardcore Critter, and have all the dreams of being the next Aabriya Iyengar or Matt Mercer, or some unholy-yet-wholesome fusion of the two (with just a pinch of Taliesin Jaffe for good measure). I have been a DM for 4 years. I have encountered troublemaking goliaths, cautious paladins, and the mellowest of druids. I have Mastered for teenaged players and single mothers, college students and entrepreneurs. Now, to the nitty-gritty: I offer D&D 5e, Vampire the Masquerade, Monster of the Week, and homebrew/in-playtest games of my own creation. I ADORE homebrew and non-official character creations [within reason, don't go too crazy, friends], and I will be happy to introduce your group to my own Realm of Zrail or an official world. I also run one-shots in all of the above settings, but I specialize in longer-form campaigns. I love letting my PCs start at Level 3 for more fun faster, though sometimes we will still be babies at Level 1. I'm not out to murder my PCs: I want to see you succeed, to explore these worlds and discover (or become) these legends yourself. I'll see you all in the shadows, friends. Come along; they won't linger forever!

Creating your character
Crown of the Oathbreaker offers unique player options, including new subclasses and backgrounds. The Player's Gazeteer will be provided before the first session, and final character creation will take place during Session Zero.
Still 5 more seats available!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Video is not required, but is recommended. A microphone will be required for voice-calling sessions. D&D Beyond is highly recommended for character management and combat. Roll20 is highlyrecommended for combat. Either or both will be used during the course of the campaign. A Discord account is required for admission to the campaign server and participation in sessions.
What Shadow Neysa brings to the table
Rule of Cool is my main operating system. I do utilize character voices and ambient music. I will be using Roll20 or D&D Beyond for combat and map-tracking for this campaign. All voice/video calls will take place in a shared Discord server. That server will be open to all players (different groups will have separate sections and role-tags, as well as some shared space) to facilitate off-session discussion, planning, and/or off-table role-play.

Safety
How Shadow Neysa creates a safe table
Crown of the Oathbreaker's narrative relies on aspects of dubious consent in relationships, as well as a number of other potentially triggering topics. All efforts will be made to provide a healthy gaming environment, with clear communication and accommodations made to ensure player and GM safety and comfort. Only players 18 and older will be admitted. Each session will include at least 1 break, timed as close to the halfway point as possible. Longer sessions may have 2 or more breaks. Session Zero will be mandatory, and will include discussion of Lines, Veils, and any other triggers or concerns. Lines and Veils will be maintained in a shared Google Doc, with options for anonymous listing through the GM's private messages. An Open Door policy will be in effect throughout the campaign, no questions asked. X/N/O cards will be accepted through private chat, or spoken on screen. Luxton discussions, as needed, will be resolved and incorporated, and will not count against play-time.
