About the adventure
Join the crew of a starship on the final frontier for its continuing mission. This campaign will explore the Shackleton Expanse, an new territory on the edges of Federation space. The adventure will begin with a 12 mission "season" of adventures. It will include both published adventures and stories of our own design entirely! 🚀 COMMAND a starship on the final frontier. 🛠️ ENGINEER solutions that push the possibilities of known physics. 🧪 RESEARCH cutting edge discoveries that make the galaxy better. 🛡️ SECURE peace and prosperity for the United Federation of Planets And of course, GO BOLDLY where no one has gone before. Each adventure in this ongoing series will last 1 to 3 sessions and present a new challenge, ethical dilemma, or mystery! After every 12 missions, we will check in with the crew and decide what changes to make for the next set of adventures, much like seasons of a TV show.

Creating your character
We will create characters together during a session 0 and discuss everyone's role in the crew. In addition, we will build our own starship with which to venture into the stars. 6 Premade characters will also be available to choose from.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Bring your favorite character ideas and be ready to work with the other players to fit them into our own ensemble cast! Make sure you have a reasonable internet connection and computer to play on. You will need a camera and microphone as well (the built in ones on your laptop are usually fine).

How Alex creates a safe table
This one-shot will be kept a safe space from any harassment, bigotry, or toxic behavior. To assist in moderating the game's content and to make sure everyone is having fun, the following content safety tools will be used. 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲: During session 0, we will set up basic lines and veils. Please message me ahead of time if you have any questions about my content warnings. But in general, my Lines & Veils setup is: Lines: - No rape - No child abuse Veils: - Sex and torture can be referenced in vague terms and never described in detail. It can happen off camera or fade to black if necessary. Finally, we will use the Stars and Wishes system to encourage the kinds of content we DO want to see! Our initial stars and wishes will be discussed during session 0 and returned to as play goes on! 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲: X, N, and O cards will be available via Discord chat. You will always be able to pause play or change something, no questions asked!
