About the adventure
Join the crew of a starship on the final frontier for its continuing mission. This campaign will feature the familiar format of self contained adventures you know from your favorite Star Trek series. These adventures will be strung together to tell the larger story of your ship and crew. Your character will have their values challenged so that they grow and change from one adventure to the next. ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ a starship on the final frontier. ๐ ๏ธ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ solutions that push the possibilities of known physics. ๐งช ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก cutting edge discoveries that make the galaxy better. ๐ก๏ธ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ peace and prosperity for the United Federation of Planets And of course, ๐๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ where no one has gone before. Each adventure in this ongoing series will last 1 to 2 sessions and present a new challenge, ethical dilemma, or mystery! After every 12 sessions, we will check in with the crew and decide what changes to make for the next set of adventures, much like seasons of a TV show. You will need: - A microphone - A camera is highly recommended - A free account on discord.com - A free account on playrole.com - A reasonable internet connection - Joining with a desktop or laptop computer is recommended
What I provide
I will provide: - Knowledge of how to play the game and plenty of experience in teaching the system so you can start playing confidently from session 1 - Pre-made characters so you can pick up and play. - Guidance on character creation and how to get the most from the game. - A custom room on playrole.com will all the tools necessary to jump in and play.
Gameplay details
This one-shot will be kept a safe space from any harassment, bigotry, or toxic behavior. To assist in moderating the game's content and to make sure everyone is having fun, the following content safety tools will be used. ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ: During session 0, we will set up basic lines and veils. Please message me ahead of time if you have any questions about my content warnings. But in general, my Lines & Veils setup is: Lines: - No rape - No child abuse Veils: - Sex and torture can be referenced in vague terms and never described in detail. It can happen off camera or fade to black if necessary. Finally, we will use the Stars and Wishes system to encourage the kinds of content we DO want to see! Our initial stars and wishes will be discussed during session 0 and returned to as play goes on! ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ: X, N, and O cards will be available via Discord chat. You will always be able to pause play or change something, no questions asked!

How will character creation work
We will create characters together during a session 0 and discuss everyone's role in the crew. In addition, we will build our own starship with which to venture into the stars. We will decide as a group which era to set the campaign in. The era we play in may change between "seasons" (every 12 sessions or so). Character creation instructions and a blank character sheet on playrole.com will be provided! 6 Premade characters will also be available to choose from.
