About the adventure

"The world of Terra has fallen into a dark age. The dead roam openly, dark cults dedicated to ancient gods operate in shadows, governments are falling as kingdoms burn. You are a mercenary crew that dwells within Sanes. You've done a few missions, and you have solid comrades on your side. Several noble houses will try and recruit you to aid them in the coming days. Sanes is teetering on the brink of collapse, and will need champions to prevent their houses from going quietly into that good night." This grimdark campaign is high magic, with access to the early firearms system. We use Elephant in the Room, and allow all Core, Base, Hybrid, and Unchained classes are available. You start at 3rd level, 25 point buy, two traits, one archetype. The available races are the homebrew races of Terra (various types of human, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings are still around).

About me

I'm hosting games for Pathfinder 1st edition, largely because I've noticed there aren't a lot of people hosting these games. I've been a DM for over twenty years, and have the philosophy that the game is meant to be something fun for everyone involved. I try and make games that have something for every player. I run modules, both bought and homebrewed.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be done in Session 0, with character sheets being logged onto Foundry VTT. 25 point buy, 3,000 gp, 3rd level, two traits, one archetype. The Base, Core, Hybrid, and Unchained classes are allowed, as are early firearms. Characters with an item creation feat can make items with the feat during character creation. Leadership is allowed, as are animal companions, familiars, eidolons, and special mounts.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Create a backstory (no more than two pages in a Word document, please) and have three character ideas ready by Session 0. We will likely make two-three characters per person, time permitting.

What Nicholas Paschall brings to the table

I bring FoundryVTT, premade encounters, a plotted campaign, and aSkyrim-esque world. This world is the product of over 20 years of campaigns, with past characters having made items, spells, and feats that still exist to this day.

Safety

How Nicholas Paschall creates a safe table

We will have a session 0 where we all brainstorm characters together, and the GM will teach new players on how to use FoundryVTT. Session 0 is free, session 1 is $5.00, and thereafter sessions will be $10.00 a session. Vibrant description of battle will involve some body horror, and this homebrew world has quite a bit of homebrew creatures. You will want to try and make a strong character. There will be roleplay in this campaign, but the combat will prove dangerous if you are not a capable warrior of some sort.
