About the adventure
This will be a Curse of Strahd themed campaign. It will use the book as resources and guides, but will not follow the plot of the published adventure. It will be gritty and bleak at times. Horror and brutality are a part of this campaign. However; this game will have guidelines and topics that will be off limits. Rather than body horror, this campaign will attempt to capture a "Gothic Horror" tone, rather be overtly gruesome and gory.

Creating your character
Character creation should happen before the session. Starting level will be level 5. This is a published adventure...so...not reading "Curse of Strahd" would be great. :)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please create a character before the session. If you need assistance, please reach out. Character creation is easiest via DNDBeyond.com. There, you can create a free account and make up to 5 characters. The system does a really good job walking you through the steps of character creation, and will also make them for you based on some preferences you might have. Maps will be hosted on OwlbearRodeo.com, but this does not require an account to access, only an internet connection. Please be able to log into googlemeet so we can have voice and video with each other during the game.
What Garth Minnick brings to the table
I will bring access to the core rulebooks (2014 D&D 5e- Players Handbook) on DNDBeyond. I have a master subscription, and you will be invited to join a campaign via link. Once you join the campaign, you will be able to create a digital character sheet online with a free account using resources in the Players Handbook.
