This is a heavy combat and exploration focused adventure, but there are a ton of chances for rp too! Levels 5-20. It's not all dungeons and monsters, however, the furthur down you go the more the madness of the mage becomes evident. Because as you make your way through the dungeon, you'll soon realize:

About me
Just your average nerd trying to play more d&d. Have you ever had a friend be volun-told to DM a game? That was me. But then I loved it, so here we are. I enjoy puns, silly side plots, and trying to not laugh when my players come up with wacky ideas like drowning the ogre using an immovable rod. I run 5e content (sorry no auto success for a nat 20). I do use supplemental material to add in or take things out to make the game run in a smoother/more exciting way. So even if you've played a module before, it'll be different this time around! I've currently run: Curse of Strahd ๐ง ๐ฉธ Tomb of annihilation ๐ฆ๐ด Lost mine of Phandelver โฐ๏ธ๐ก๏ธ Out of the Abyss ๐๐ฟ Storm King's Thunder ๐ฉ๏ธ๐ Wild beyond the Witchlight ๐ ๐ง๐ฝ Dungeon of the Mad Mage โฐ๏ธ๐ง๐ผ Vecna - Eve of Ruin ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ I have wrapped up the above games in about 12 months (Curse of Strahd lasted 15 months, Mad mage is still ongoing but will likely last 2 years) If you are looking for a DM for a corporate event, message me for prices. I've done both entertainment and team building events. ๐Btw the banner pictures are art that a player did for the various shenanigans that happened over a few campaigns. Belle is a great DM! She knows the rules, her games run on time, and she is inclusive to different levels of comfort of players. Her voices and characters are compelling (and there is quite a lot of them!), as well as she takes the time to know your character and what would make it tick, to include in the campaign. She keeps her games on track - especially longer campaigns - with relevant stuff happening in the world around you. She's also very receptive to feedback, both in session and out of session. Overall, a great experience, with very clear expectations, safety and very good execution.
Belle has truly been a pleasure to game and geek out with over the full expanse of nerdom (but yes, also D&D). She uses a short-form, 2-2.5 hour session style that jives really well with the type of play I'm looking for: expect 2-4 encounters each session (with typically at least one combat and one roleplay opportunity), roleplay is encouraged but not required, and the story will advance in some small (or sometimes large) way each session. Belle is a master of "yes, and"-ing your character ideas, encouraging your characters to do cool sh** and creatively solve puzzles in-session but then think through how that would impact their personal story/character development outside the session with your weekly journal entries. The thought and care she puts into each entry in her ever-growing game catalogue of campaigns and one-shot is readily apparent each session; journeying with my party into whatever new wrinkle she's developed for us each session has fast become one of the highlight of my week. 10/10 would game again.
I am so looking forward to my other sessions with Belle as DM. She is knowledgeable about the game, helpful for new/returning players learning the online system, and a good storyteller. She does a great job at giving the right amount of information and letting us figure it out on our own. She feels like a member of the team, and not a force we are working against, which just makes for a great dynamic.
I've played with Belle for a month now and I can't praise her or her gaming methods highly enough. She has an attention to details on both the player and the GM side that really captivates everyone at the table. And her voices are 10/10. She seems never to forget a detail and continuously astounds with both action and role play immersion. If you're thinking about playing at her table, I highly advise you try it!
After wrapping up the campaign I initially started under Belle, I have to say she's pretty much second-to-none. She's been nothing but accommodating to any sort of schedule or game funkiness, plays all sorts of NPCs in a compelling way, is fair in her application of rules, and (what I regard to be most important) is really good "glue" between the different sorts of personalities in the party. It's been an absolute privilege to play under her, and I look forward to doing so for a long time.
Character creation
Creating your character
This will happen in session 0, which will be a free session. We can discuss the characters, classes, and races you are interested in playing and try to put together a cohesive team. No edgy loner types, this is a cooperative campaign. Stats can either be rolled for on D&D beyond (DURING session zero), standard array, or point buy. IF rolling, it will be done with a shared screen during session zero so everyone can cheer or offer their condolences. Starting level will depend on number of players. 3 start at level 6 4-5 start at level 5 Character will be made on DNDbeyond, but you can easily use Beyond20 to transfer them to Roll20 if you are more comfortable using that.
We will be using the 2024 rules for this campaign. This is a Rp heavy group that likes to try and RP situations before resulting to bloodshed, but also wont hold back once the fighting starts. This a an LGBTQIA+ table for members and allies. Current group: Goliath Illusionist Wizard Shadar-kai Eldritch Knight Human Storm Sorcerer/Rogue
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need: - a D&D Beyond and Roll 20 account. (basic is fine) - You will need at minimum a mic, webcam is not necessary if you don't want to be on camera (though it is more fun to see reactions) - Have a basic idea of at least the character you want to play, and by the end of session 0, a description so I can make the tokens. - a strong desire to delve into a seemingly never ending dungeon
What Belle brings to the table
Here's what I bring: -custom tokens -maps with use of dynamic lighting -background music to set the vibe. -bad attempts at character voices - tissues for when your character eventually succumbs to the dungeon Things we will track: rations ๐ฒ (including harvesting of monster meat) water ๐ Things we won't track: common arrows ๐น (unless you REALLY want to)
Homebrew rules
Outlined in the session Zero notes, but include: *Action to drink a potion is full healing *Death saves are NOT public *Hero coins to reward good RP
Equipment needed to play

How Belle creates a safe table
We will start with a free Session 0 where we create characters and go over each others lines and veils. There is no shaming or discrimination at my table. After each session we will have a debrief/stars and wishes session. I'll ask if anyone wants to mention anything or post a link to fill out a form online.
